I’ve barely posted
I’ve barely gone on any adventures
I spent more time this summer at festivals and partying than I did adventuring
I’ve engaged with fellow creators less

Why?

For almost a year I’ve been feeling burnt out
Not enjoying creating
Not enjoying filming

And it wasn’t until I took almost all summer off before I realized

I simply just no longer liked creating travel and vanlife content

Even on my birthday I posted about trying something new each week and even that didn’t feel right

But I still like sharing my life online

I want you to actually know me
Not the places I go or the vehicle I live in

But ME

And that’s what the new @rickiontheroad is going to be all about

Inspiring you to live your absolute best life, by sharing me, actually living my best life

And there’s more to come. More surprises. More adventures. More new experiences.

Burning man 2026 dump

Way too many thoughts about my first burning man to put into words. It was exciting, lonely, fulfilling, nerve wracking, amazing, and emotional all at the same time.

I realized the volunteering with medical is not for me and that going alone is harder than going alone to a festival.

I realized that being stuck in a white out can actually be exciting and that getting lost at night is fun.

I learned that 95% of the music is house/techno and that @campquestionmark is where it’s at for the BassHead’s

I learned that you’ll make your destination later than anticipated or even not at all because of all the cool things to see and do along the way

Overall it’s amazing experience and I can’t wait to be back with friends in the dust next year

Festival season is off to a BANG💥

Spent 6 weeks in denver catching up with friends and making some new ones while catching shows at Red Rocks

11/10 would recommend having each artist draw and sign your leg for a new tattoo
