Minnesota, a huge THANK YOU! We just finished our 5th year serving Rick’s Pickle Pizza at the Minnesota State Fair, and we have so many people to thank.

To everyone who made us a stop on their fair day, whether it was your first slice or your fifth year coming back, we appreciate you! Every recommendation to a friend, tagged photo and return visit means a lot to us.

Thank you to @mnstatefair for having us, and to our crew for the long days and hard work behind every slice. We couldn’t do it without you.

See you in 2027, Minnesota! ✌️ taken in Minnesota State Fair by @rickspizza_

🚨 LAST CHANCE FOR PICKLE PIZZA! 🥒🍕🚨 @rickspizza_ @mnstatefair @visitsaintpaul

I was invited to check out Rick’s Pizza at the Minnesota State Fair, and if there’s ONE thing I come back for every year, it’s their iconic Pickle Pizza! 🙌🏼

Guys, this is not a drill. The fair is almost over, which means your window to grab a slice is CLOSING! 🎡 Even with the crazy line, I promise it’s worth the wait.

🔥 HOT TIP: Add garlic powder on top. Trust me, it takes it to another level.

If you love pickles + pizza, RUN to Rick’s and get a slice before the State Fair closes for the year! 🏃‍♂️💨🥒🍕

Who else considers this a State Fair MUST?! 👇🏼

You see the pizza… but here’s what goes on behind the scenes 👀🥒🍕

A little Rick’s Pickle Pizza fun fact:

During ONE Minnesota State Fair, we go through around 500 five-gallon buckets of pickles.

That’s nearly 1.5 MILLION pickle slices. 🤯

Stack every one of those slices on top of each other and you’d have a pickle tower almost 3 MILES HIGH — roughly 50 football fields.🥒🍕🔥

🍕💚 BIGGEST FAN SHOUTOUT: CARSON! 💚🥒

We had to take a moment to give a special shoutout to our #1 Rick’s Pickle Pizza fan, Carson!

We first met Carson back in 2023 when he won one of our pizza giveaways, and he has been part of our State Fair tradition ever since. Carson even created his own Instagram account @car_eats_thefair dedicated to reviewing and rating Minnesota State Fair foods, and every year he comes back with the biggest smile on his face, ready for his Rick’s Pickle Pizza. 🥹🍕🥒

Seeing him each year truly puts such a big smile on our faces, and we can’t thank him enough for all the love, support, and loyalty he has shown us over the years.

And this year?! Carson took it to another level by rocking the Minnesota State Fair in his Rick’s Pickle Pizza shirt! 🥒🔥 We absolutely LOVE IT.

Carson, thank you for being such an awesome part of the Rick’s Pickle Pizza family. We look forward to seeing you every single year and of course, making sure you get your pickle pizza fix! 💚🍕

Here’s to our # 1 fan! 🫶

And that’s a wrap on the 2025 Minnesota State Fair!
Rick’s Pickle Pizza is overflowing with gratitude for the Minnesota State Fair and every single fairgoer who showed us love this year. From daybreak to the last late-night slice, your energy, smiles, and patience in those long lines have meant everything to us. 💚🍕
We are so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Minnesota State Fair, and we were truly overwhelmed by all the support Minnesota has given to Rick’s Pickle Pizza. Your enthusiasm helped us make the most of our second location at the Fair, and seeing families, friends, and first-timers come back for another slice made every hour worth it.
To the incredible @mnstatefair —thank you for welcoming us and believing in what we do. To all the fairgoers who visited (some more than once!), thank you for cheering us on, tagging us in your photos, and spreading the word. And to our crew and family: your hustle, heart, and teamwork are the reason we can serve so many people so well. We appreciate you more than words can say.
Minnesota, you’ve made Rick’s Pickle Pizza part of your fair tradition—and we’re honored. Until next time, thank you for being the best. 💚🍕🌟

In awe of @landedinminnesota for creating a series of turning @mnstatefair foods into art. This is going in a frame on my bedside table because nothing brings me joy quite like a dill pickle - Lizy Pickleton aka the Pickle Princess
