Autumn ploughing on the South Downs at Balsdean, near Saltdean, Sussex.

Vaguely reminiscent of Grant Wood’s paintings of the rural American midwest in 1930s.

A delicate image. Bit more subtle than my normal fare. It is of the very remote Birkdale Tarn, Birkdale Common, in the far northern reaches of the Yorkshire Dales. It looks like the water is defying gravity.

The Art Deco facade of the famous Regency Cafe (caff rather than cafe) on Regency Street, Westminster.
