🇦🇷❤️ A little piece of my country

Tango meets tap in this fusion of two worlds, bringing a piece of my roots to my dance. ❤️‍🔥👞

I’m collecting handsome silver foxes at my @bdcnyc tap classes! Had fun yesterday reviewing time steps and gushing over the memory of Gene Kelly in “The Pirate” with @james.beaman and @dorisdearofficial along with teacher @rickyespositodancer (who was very patient with us)! #dancing #tap #musicals #actor #nyc taken in Broadway Dance Center by @rickyespositodancer

Excellent work by @saramargaretray and @theworldofmichaelgreen on this sweet & swingy across the floor drill!! The pattern is simple but the timing and weight shift can get a bit twisty on the brain -- but that's the idea. 👞👞🎩

Starting on opposite shoes discourages the "copy other feet" reflex, and also happens to create some cool & winding shapes ✨️✨️

Subbing Beginner Tap at @bdcnyc Tuesdays in August at 12 noon!

This is Beginner so there will be a lot of emphasis on technique. Come work on clean, beautiful sounds and rhythmic precision ✨️✨️

It is often the simplest, most undemanding melodies that speak to our hearts the clearest. Forever grateful for the gift of music like this.

Swipe right for the composer of this magic.
