It really pays to have a friend in the industry! We got invited to the Descendants Worlds Collide Tour @ the forum and had such a fun night!

Gia got to hang out Ruby & squad, which made for the perfect tween night. Tons of singing, dancing, candy and even some backstage time to meet the stars of the show!

It was a VERY late night, but totally worth it, just to see her eyes light up wit excitement.

Thank you so much @rickyrollins &
@mandilane for such a fun night! #descendantsworldscollidetour #disneysdescendants #camprock3 #disneyszombies4 taken in Kia Forum by @rickyrollins

A couple weeks ago we went surfing and it just wasn’t Ruby’s day. She was cold, couldn’t stand up on a wave, and got super frustrated. She built the courage to try again the following weekend, did some practice in the backyard, and not only did she catch a bunch of waves, but started paddling into them on her own! 🥹 taken in Doheny State Beach by @rickyrollins

Years of countless auditions and moments of being “so close” have all lead to this incredible moment. This is truly the perfect role for you @alexandrobyrd, and it shows. The years of training, the relentless work, and the weeks of rehearsals it took to bring these songs and this character to life have all paid off in the biggest way. I feel like a Disney Duet is one of the highest movie musical honors, and I love that Red and Luis now get to stand alongside iconic pairs like Aladdin & Jasmine, Rapunzel & Flynn, and Simba & Nala…. Not to mention a dance battle song too? Thank you for letting me sit shotgun on this wild ride and for making Ruby your bestie and making me look like a cool dad. Congrats to the entire @disneydescendants cast and crew!! And congrats Team Alex @timothyweissman @leslie.zaslower @ashleypweston @scarlettpweston 🍄🍄‍🟫🃏♥️♣️ by @rickyrollins
