History Made for Ride4IBD!

Our first ever professional podium—and what a ride it was.

Jan delivered an incredible performance at @californiabicycleracing CBR, launching an early attack that landed him in the winning break. The group worked seamlessly together, ultimately catching the peloton on the final corner of the last lap. The sprint was chaotic, but Jan held strong and powered to an amazing 3rd place finish!

Riding alongside fellow @borahteamwear -sponsored squad @abccycling , Jan showed heart, grit, and what it means to ride for something bigger.

A huge congrats to @jantemmen —and to the IBD community—for this powerful moment. This podium is a win for all of us living and thriving with IBD.

World IBD Day 💜

Today is about more than awareness.
It’s about changing perceptions.

IBD doesn’t always look the way people expect. It can exist behind smiles, race numbers, long rides, careers, goals, and everyday life. Through Ride4IBD, we continue to show that living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis does not define what someone is capable of achieving.

Every mile ridden, every event attended, every conversation shared helps break stigma and create a stronger community for those living with invisible illness.

To everyone navigating IBD:
Keep riding. Keep pushing. Keep believing in yourself.

Big throw back to a few weeks ago when @riesterfinn Finn Riester threw down at the Tour de Scottsdale 👏🔥

Living with IBD while juggling school, a DJ career, and his love for cycling… Finn is the definition of what it means to be a Ride4IBD ambassador.

After racing this event last year, he came back with a goal: take on the 100K, go faster, and keep pushing his limits 💥

All while continuing to share his IBD journey out on course and connect with others along the way.

That’s what this is all about.

Proud of you Finn 🙌
Can’t wait to see what’s next.

Sea Otter ‘26! Thought I put together a pretty solid race, knocking off almost half an hour from my time compared to 2024. Beyond my race, Sea Otter is easily my favorite event of the year. It’s always so wonderful to remember how many friends I have in cycling!

For me this performance was also an important redemption. Last year I DNF’d with stomach issues, literally hurling on Hurl Hill. It’s why I’m so excited to represent the Crohn’s community with @ride4ibd this year, and I’m super thankful for their support and guidance. taken in Laguna Seca Raceway by @ride4ibd

Ride4IBD ambassador and IBD patient Finn Riester @riesterfinn is taking on his next Ride.Inspire.Challenge. at the @tourdescottsdale on March 28th. 🚴‍♂️🔥

Finn is a full-time DJ, a dedicated law student, and a passionate cyclist who continues to showcase his personal journey with IBD by stepping up to challenges that once felt impossible.

After completing the Tour de Scottsdale in 2025, Finn described a day filled with intense fun, meaningful connections, and powerful conversations sparked by his unique Ride4IBD jersey. More importantly, he proved to himself that riding 60 miles — something many believe isn’t possible with IBD — was absolutely within his reach.

Now, Finn returns to Scottsdale with a clear goal: to beat his time and push himself to a new record pace.

Let’s all cheer Finn on as he lines up once again on March 28th, continuing to challenge perceptions, inspire our community, and show what’s possible when you choose to ride beyond your condition.

Congrats Finn — you are a true IBD inspiration and we are proud to have you represent Ride4IBD.

The heat got the best of me Saturday, which is a shame because I missed out on the rest of a stellar course. As it goes, onto the next! (Next = the same trails again but on flat bars) taken in McDowell Mountain Regional Park by @ride4ibd

Last week, Ride4IBD had the opportunity to take part in this year’s JPM Biotech Bikers Ride, in partnership with Idea Pharma—bringing together movement, conversation, and patient perspective ahead of a busy week in San Francisco 🚴‍♂️☀️

Over 50 riders rolled out from downtown SF on a classic California winter day, setting off on a 25-mile ride past iconic landmarks including the Golden Gate Bridge, the Nike Missile Site, and Fisherman’s Wharf. The ride created space for meaningful connections and conversations before a full week of JPM programming.

Post-ride, we gathered for lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe, where Ride4IBD was on full display—from branding and visuals to a featured talk by our founder Cory Greenberg @corymike23 on the importance of patient-perspective approaches in healthcare and the IBD space.

With the support of SonarMD and Spyre Therapeutics, we highlighted innovative, patient-focused approaches to treatment and care—followed by gift bags and a helmet raffle courtesy of @abus_cycling_usa 🎁🪖

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to @biotechbikers_cc Biotech Bikers and Idea Pharma @ideapharma for the opportunity to help us share our mission and bring the patient voice directly to those shaping the future of care.

What a season. 💥 From first-timers pinning on a number to international podiums, 2025 pushed Ride4IBD to new heights. Every ride, every race, every story is proof that IBD doesn’t define us—it fuels us. 🚴‍♂️🔥

The season may be ending, but our mission rolls year-round. Off-season = rebuild, reset, and reload for an even bigger 2026. Let’s keep riding, sharing, and showing the world what this community can do. 💜⚡️

Ride4IBD is excited to announce that our partners at K2M IT Solutions GmbH have extended their support for 2026.

Ride4IBD is committed to using cycling to bridge the gap between IBD and the broader public through exposure to education around the condition. K2M IT Solutions believes in our mission, much in the same way they are building the IT education infrastructure needed to help German schools educate their youth and provide them with access to digital technology.

We are honored to continue to work with K2M IT Solutions GmbH and look forward to our 2026 season!
