Unlock a Bluebike with your key fob like a pro!

Not all docks are the same, so here’s how to ride like a local:

➡️ Tap your fob on the right side for a pillar dock

⬅️ Insert it on the left side for a classic dock

✅ Hear the chime?
✅ See the green light?
👍🏽 You’re good to go!!

🔴 Red light or “baaa” sound? Dock it again.
⚠️ Bike won’t unlock? Try the next one!

Brooms are cool, but a @ridebluebikes is the ultimate way to explore the Witch City this October!🐺 🧹 🚲

Tag along as we take our Boo-bike through the historic streets of Salem during spooky season.

With convenient hubs all across the city, you can give your claws and paws a break from the peddling to enjoy the many haunted happenings.

Why spend your day looking for parking when you could have a front-row seat to the best costumes and autumn vibes in town. 🧙‍♀️ 🍂 by @ridebluebikes

Ride and Chill at Franklin Park. 🍂🚲

Franklin Park turned into a free, family-friendly bike day with a 9-mile ride, a 2.5-mile family ride, and a half-mile loop for beginners. Then the Shattuck Picnic Area kept the good vibes rolling with a DJ, live music, a bike repair clinic, food vendors, and more.

Thanks to @bluecrossma , the title sponsor of Bluebikes and of this event, for keeping the good energy going.

Tag someone you’d ride with next time. 👇

For World Mental Health Day, I’m partnering with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, the title sponsor of Bluebikes, to take ThoughtswithH on the road. 🚲

Sometimes supporting your mental well-being can be as simple as getting outside,
moving your body,
changing your scenery
and connecting with someone you care about. ❤️

And if you need somewhere to ride,
Blue Cross MA is sponsoring the City of Boston’s free Ride & Chill tomorrow (10/11) at Franklin Park. 💃

Maybe this is your reason to ride. 🤍

Have you spotted one of the pink @ridebluebikes in the city? 🌸 We teamed up with @umassboston student artist @roberta.trindade_ to create a special-edition Breast Cancer Awareness Month bike. Her artwork is a tribute to resilience — and it drives real impact.

For every ride on a pink bike, we’ll donate $1 — up to $10,000 — to the Ellie Fund, which offers support to local breast cancer patients and their families. 🩷

Click the link in bio to learn more about how your ride supports the Ellie Fund.
