German thrash metal - an important and untouchable scene!

New article and guide up on Rideintoglory.com. It's written by a German native and features many translated resources and an interview with "Lacky" the drummer of DARKNESS

Can you guess my favorite band?

Very important milestone reached yesterday...every MR release available on vinyl + the extras including solo/side projects (Hellwell outside the pic) and the Brocas Helm split.

Recent pickups from @fall_fiend! Check out his label, Postmortem Apocalypse for some good stuff

Pretty stoked to have the Riddlemaster LP and it goes without saying that the Manilla Road koozie is gonna get some good mileage in quarantine

So many fantastic releases in the UK got overlooked because they were too late to ride the NWOBHM.

We posted a primer up on rideintoglory.com for anyone interested at learning more on this scene!

Finally got my hands on a copy of Slough Feg's Traveler!

It's a record I've been hunting for since day one of collecting and I'm stoked to own one of my all time faves

@eternalchampion flag - one of my favorite covers in all of metal! Love the striking similarities to the Manilla Road - Mark of the Beast artwork (original piece titled "Nuada the King" by Jim Fitzpatrick)

Recently picked up the first three While Heaven Wept records courtesy of a good friend - Vast Oceans fully signed too! Brilliant epic doom metal with excellent use of keys.

Just looking at some of the stuff from the last decade and it's clear how insane of a time it has been for traditional metal.

Best of the 2010s article up on site now!

Haven't posted or bought vinyl lately (out of room and moving next month), but I had to make an exception for the @smoulder_doom die hard bundle!
We were mentioned in the liner notes and I'm absolutely honored by it. Huge thanks to Smoulder!
