Yesterday, Tommy Freda ‘27, Gianna Evans ‘28, Chris Tighe ‘28, and Kiersten Burd ‘27 — members of the Arts Management Association E-Board — attended Inside Hustle in Philadelphia! They attended an opening keynote with Toby Leaman of Dr. Dog, a panel on marketing for artists, a panel on the business of radio, and had networking opportunities with local Philadelphia industry professionals. They also met up with Rob Schwartz, a Rider alum and friend of Professor Linda Lorence-Critelli!

Yesterday, October 8, Professor Linda Lorence-Critelli and Camille Kociuba met with Seth Levin, District Director for Congressman Herb Conaway Jr., MD. They joined other local Recording Academy members to discuss protections from AI in the music industry. Camille is a member of Grammy U, and Professor Linda Lorence-Critelli sits on the Recording Academy’s New York Chapter Advocacy Board. Thank you to everyone who came out to support artists during this age of AI!

In 1993, Americans for the Arts coordinated the first ever month-long celebration for the arts and humanities in order to recognize their importance and influence on our society. Since then, the nation has celebrated this month every October! Happy National Arts and Humanities Month, AEIMers!

Saturday was a great day here at Rider! Rider hosted Cranchella, our reimagined open house experience, and welcomed prospective students and families to take a look at what our campus and programs have to offer! The day was filled with information sessions, campus experiences, and opportunities for prospective students to discover the many possibilities within the business side of the arts and entertainment industries. It was fantastic getting to meet everyone and talk about all you can achieve here at Rider!

Plus, AEIM students make great Tour Guides and Event Coordinators! Pictured on slide 3 are Georgie Stone ‘29 (Bronc for a Day Coordinator), Chris Tighe ‘28 (Tour Guide), Gianna Evans ‘28 (Tour Guide), and Ian Kent ‘27 (Tour Guide).
