Off the bike for a bit came down with the pneumonia blues. It's volume #3 for me as I have had it twice before after breaking ribs. I got that Cabin Fever to get back on the bike something fierce. Learning to let myself recover, as that's why I am stuck in this dance. And when I do...I going to groove something fierce with them trails. Love y'all, Sweet D

Today was the first time on a bike in weeks and it shows. What a beautiful day celebrating the two most amazing women in my life to be grateful for ✨🤍✨ When we ride in Santa Cruz we always feel connected to my Mom. We look out at the ocean where we spread her ashes, shared so many smiles and feel her warmth. Today the ocean was extra radiant like a big warm hug for Mom. The universe has been showing me love is eternal. Shine on 💖✨

Energy 🌟✨ I have been struggling with pain, loss, grief, and depression hard. I asked the Universe for a sign that my Mom and I are still connected. While we turn on our string of "love lights" every night, the little battery tea lights I got from my Mom haven't worked for probably years, I just can't throw them out. Last night I turned off the string of lights as I went to bed and one tea light was miraculously on! The one next to an Angel, a light shining in my darkness, illuminating the path forward. The symbolism and message are overwhelmingly bright. Thank You Mom, thank you source 🕯️✨ This is close to my heart but I share it in Hope this helps someone else in need as well.

I did a thing! Chapter 1: My Amazing hardworking single Mom took time to chaperone a field trip to the tide pools that lit my passion to explore nature✨ Chapter 2: I would go back to Natural Bridges State Park and lead tide pool tours in my 20's and it was a magical moment in my life (pic with me in skinny in a red ball cap). Chapter 3: I just got my California Naturalist Certification and one of the highlights was... you guessed it tide pools! At pivotal times I have been lost and found nature to get me stoked on life on a new level or nature found me. I thrive in nature wether on a bike or connecting people to nature!

Lift me up! Got sum amazing riding in and finally felt confident hitting my favorite jumps again after a long knee rehab. I always feel connected to my Grandma here, that is her painting of the redwoods. She was extra important in raising me, my childhood, pegging my pants and support my skate punk style 🖤✨ As monarchs flew over me I felt connected to Mom and Grandma. My Mom letting me have a half pipe was crucial in setting a regular foundation in shredding for the healthy mindset. I am so grateful to these amazing souls 🦋✨ Maybe they even helped me catch a little more air! Feeling Connected and Lifted!

Happy Heavenly Birthday Mom! I chose today to celebrate you at a special place where you took the Jason's and I for a field trip and what would be a place of my inspiration to love nature and to connect other people to nature. Most of all a symbolic happy place where you sacrificed for me like you did as a single mom so many times. A place we went as a family.

Your Amazing soul shines bright, lives in our hearts, and we think about you all the time. I hope a part of you can enjoy Westcliff, sunrises and sunsets, nature at its finest, the ocean, roller skating and doing 360's and never falling, visiting restaurants and places we loved together. I am grateful for the time we had together. We love you!

We started off connecting with you on a early morning, it was a perfect, foggy Santa Cruz experience, feeling the ocean, listening to the waves, thinking about you. Got on the Bikes, which always made you happy. Came back to see the Monarchs dance in the sun. As we toasted you at Stagnaros, this song came on from Stevie. The lyrics aren't exactly right for a Heavenly Birthday some might think. Although you loved Stevie, bonded with her and I think you are saying I can let go of the pain. I will always be connected with you in so many ways, just need to let go of the dark ones for us both. To many positive memories and reasons to smile on 🖤🙏🏼✨
