. We are excited to announce that our film PRESSWALA has been nominated for BEST FILM (FICTION) AWARD at the Youth Film Festival at @thencatriennale , ceremony held at @nca_officials 's Shakir Ali Auditorium. None of this could have been possible without our beautiful core team, DOP @1abdullahmir , production manager and designer @mannalkhawar_ , sound recordist and designer @ridha_ibrar , writer and director @tamannahatescats and everyone else who was there to help us! ❀ Very warm and hearty thanks to Mr. Seerat Hazir for arranging and directing this film festival at @thencatriennale and providing all this platform to speak up about things that matter to the student filmmakers. We should all keep talking about things that matter to us and things that matter to the world. This is long, long overdue: I made my first short film last year. This film has been transforming, cruel, has tested me professionally, mentally, and emotionally, caused me multiple anxiety attacks, but it has also been one experience the filmmaker and human in me desperately needed. Thank you to every one of you who was a part of this; who was there on set and who was there in spirit. Thank you for making it happen!
