She was softness before I even understood what softness meant. A mother. A daughter. A sister. A friend. A licensed cosmetologist. The person who taught me that softness wasn’t weakness it was care, love, confidence, and the way you make people feel. Even after her passing, I’ve carried that with me in everything I do. And in many ways, Rie Body Essentials was born from that feeling. From her. That’s why May 31st means so much more to me than just a relaunch date. It’s the day she passed away. A day that changed my life forever, but also a day that continues to inspire me to create something rooted in softness, care, and intention. This relaunch is personal. Today is the day my sister passed away. It’s a day that will always carry sadness for me, but it’s also a day I choose to celebrate who she was and the impact she had on my life. This launch means more than a new brand or new products. It’s a piece of her legacy. My sister taught me about softness, strength, beauty, and caring for others long before I understood how much those lessons would shape me. So today, while I remember the loss, I also celebrate her life. Every detail of this launch was created with love, and in many ways, it feels like bringing a piece of her with me into this next chapter.
