Di balik event yang berjalan lancar, ada banyak hal yang perlu dipastikan oleh penyelenggara. Salah satunya, waiver peserta yang harus lengkap sebelum acara dimulai.

Sebagai inisiator NusantaRun sekaligus Co-Founder PT Bentang Jelajah Nusantara, Riefa memanfaatkan Tanda Tangan Elektronik (TTE) Tersertifikasi Privy untuk mempermudah proses penandatanganan waiver peserta. Proses yang dilakukan secara digital membuat pengelolaan waiver menjadi lebih praktis dan efisien.

Selain itu, identitas setiap pihak yang menandatangani waiver juga terverifikasi. Hal ini penting ketika persetujuan melibatkan next of kin, karena penyelenggara dapat mengetahui dengan jelas siapa yang memberikan persetujuan dan memastikan identitasnya sesuai dengan informasi yang tercantum dalam waiver. Dengan begitu, penyelenggara dapat memastikan identitas pihak yang memberikan persetujuan pada setiap waiver.

A reflection.

Every Sunday morning, after #BentangJawa2026 concludes the day before, we sit down at the same long table at Hotel Blambangan.

For the first time since the five of us went our separate ways a week earlier, we are together again. Hot cups of coffee and tea in hand, recounting the stories of the days before and reflecting on everything that has happened over the past seven days.

By the time this post goes up, our race map has been viewed 2.6 million times, and our last wanderer has returned to a home away from home.

It has been a great journey, and a long, long way from where we started six years ago, when we set ourselves a simple goal: to spread the joy of unsupported long-distance cycling.

As #BentangJawa grows larger, so does the discourse around it. From the selection process all the way until the proverbial finish gate closes. That is expected. That is normal. And we are pleased to see the conversation grow louder.

It is a sign of a community growing, emotions being invested, and ideas maturing. We would have it no other way.

We are far from perfect, and we know it. Mistakes were made. Decisions were scrutinized. And throughout it all, we are constantly reminded of how fortunate, or blessed, we are to have our close-knit Bentang Jawa family behind us: cheering, defending, supporting, motivating, educating, and generously understanding.

Yes, that means you: Bentang Jawa veterans, volunteers, dot watchers, sponsors, partners, and our own families.

To our riders, wherever your ride ended, you are our heroes.

Through your integrity, struggles, tears, and joy, you have inspired others. You have brought happiness, distraction, and, perhaps most importantly, hope to countless people. Especially at a time like this for our nation.

You have earned our utmost respect and gratitude.

Until, hopefully, next time.

Bentang Jawa is like a book. Every page is written by its riders, where every paragraph is poetry shaped by the people who support them throughout their journey, their family, friends and people who support them throughout the ride.

Its stories are of struggle and determination, sure, but they are also stories of love and sacrifice, of joy and heartbreak, laughter and tears, and eventually, a story of one adventure in finding a better version of themselves.

That is why every time we part with the riders after the conclusion of Bentang Jawa, we thank them for taking part in this adventure, for having the humility to follow its rules, and for having the courage to be vulnerable so that they can write their stories.

There will be a time to thank everyone involved in Bentang Jawa, but for now, let us thank our riders, their loved ones and, of course, our own loved ones, the five ladies and a bunch of kids who, year after year, let us wander the southern coast of Java to take care of our Bentang Jawa family.

Orang sering melihat garis start, peserta, foto-foto keren, dan cerita di media sosial. Tapi yang jarang terlihat adalah mereka yang bekerja diam-diam di belakang layar. Mereka yang datang lebih awal, pulang paling akhir, mengorbankan waktu dan tenaga untuk sesuatu yang bahkan bukan miliknya.

Weekend kemarin kami mengadakan Panuwun. Dalam bahasa Jawa, Panuwun berarti terima kasih. Dan memang itulah tujuan kami: mengucapkan terima kasih kepada para volunteer, fotografer, videografer, medic, dan semua orang yang selama ini membantu Bentang Jelajah Nusantara berjalan sejauh ini.

Kami berkumpul di Dlimoyo, Ngadirejo, Parakan, Temanggung. Mengobrol, bercanda, bertukar cerita, lalu bersepeda bersama dalam konsep no-drop ride.

Dari ride sederhana itu kami kembali diingatkan kenapa kami jatuh cinta pada sepeda. Karena bersepeda itu inklusif. Yang penting pakai helm, lalu menikmati jalan yang sama, menunggu teman yang tertinggal, dan pulang dengan cerita yang lebih banyak daripada saat berangkat.

Yang paling kami syukuri dari perjalanan Bentang Jelajah Nusantara adalah dipertemukan dengan begitu banyak manusia baik. Orang-orang yang tidak pernah mencari sorotan, tetapi justru menjadi alasan kenapa semuanya bisa terus berjalan.

Untuk semua yang pernah membantu, sekecil apa pun perannya: Panuwun. Kami mungkin tidak selalu bisa membalas semua kebaikan kalian, tapi kami tidak akan pernah lupa. Maaf minus Riefa yang sedang menambah pundi-pundi untuk DP IP17PROMAXSILVER.

Last night we spent hours discussing the applications line by line, column by column.

With over 650 applications that we received, its tedious tasks, sometimes we spent more time than we have to in discussing one application, conscious of natural human bias, trying hard to ensure that we are producing fair outcome, although we accepted that eventually, the raffles will decide the final results.

There is an easy way for sure, one that relies on mathematical logic or even an AI, saving our time and effort.

But these applicants are people, fellow cyclist and in every applications it carried dreams and stories of the people and their loved ones.

For all the effort and honesty that they have shared, at the very least we returned the same.

By the end of the night, we are not even halfway through, still plenty if works to do, but even under the stifling and humid night air under the weight of intense discussion we had, we come home upbeat and positive on how the country cycling scene continuous beats.

Whether we will see you on starting line, much of it depending on luck as much your palmares, but regardless, thank you for sharing and trying to be part of @bentangjawa 2026.
