POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I am incredibly honored and blessed to share that I will officially be attending the United States Naval Academy through Preparatory School, with plans to major in Political Science. This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering love and support of my parents.

My mom has shown me what it truly means to be a strong woman—unafraid to take up space, speak with confidence, and make her voice heard. My dad has instilled in me the value of perseverance, always reminding me to finish what I start. I carry their lessons with me as I begin this next chapter.

I would also like to thank Franklin Academy High School for their unwavering support in helping me achieve this goal.

Mourning the fact that I can never go back to being the little girl playing with her Fall Bear and Toy Story friends with her siblings—but I guess growing up means learning to love the memories more than the moments. by @rielle_0508

Between the Pictures

Twenty photographs may hold the smiles,
the costumes, the trophies, the bows,
but they cannot hold fifteen years
of everything that happened in between.

They cannot capture the music fading late at night,
the corrections repeated a hundred times,
the tired legs that kept dancing anyway,
or the quiet determination that grew with every season.

They do not show the friendships built
between rehearsals and dressing rooms,
the laughter that echoed,
or the arms that lifted one another through hard days.

These walls watched me grow—
not only as a dancer,
but as a daughter, leader, dreamer, and the young woman I am today.
They witnessed every version of who I was
and gently helped shape who I would become.

So while these pictures preserve a few beautiful moments,
the real story lives beyond the frame:
in the lessons carried forward,
the memories held close,
and the people who became family along the way.

And if fifteen years have taught me anything,
it is that dance was never just about dancing—
it was about becoming.

The World Will Always Spin

Right now—
the Earth is spinning
at 1,000 miles per hour,
moving around the sun
at 67,000.

And we call this
still.

No warning.
No feeling of motion.
Just the quiet belief
that we are exactly
where we’re supposed to be.

But the truth is—
we are already leaving
who we were.

Already.

Not in some dramatic,
all-at-once kind of way—
but slowly,
constantly,
at a speed we can’t feel.

Because that’s how change works.

It doesn’t ask if you’re ready.
It doesn’t wait
until you understand it.

It just… carries you.

Into decisions
you don’t feel qualified to make.
Into moments
that stretch you further
than you planned to go.
Into versions of yourself
you haven’t met yet.

And the hardest part?

There’s no pause button.

At 1,000 miles per hour,
at 67,000—
life keeps moving
whether you feel certain
or completely lost.

So if you’re waiting
to feel ready—
to feel sure—
to feel like you have it all figured out…

you’ll be waiting
in a world
that never stops.

The world will always spin.

Which means
you don’t need permission
to move forward.

You don’t need guarantees.
You don’t need a perfect plan.

You just need to go—
with the uncertainty,
with the doubt,
with the unfinished parts of you
still figuring themselves out.

Because somewhere
in all of this motion—
in every wrong turn,
every risk,
every moment you almost turned back—

you are becoming.

Not all at once.
Not perfectly.
But inevitably.

And one day,
you’ll look at your life
and realize
it didn’t happen
in the moments you felt ready—

it happened
while you were moving anyway.

At 1,000 miles per hour.
At 67,000.

The whole time.

Dear Softball,

How do you say goodbye to something that never really felt separate from you? For as long as I can remember, you weren’t just something I played, rather you were something I lived. You existed in the spaces between moments: in the quiet anticipation before a pitch, in the echo of a bat meeting the ball, in the stillness of standing under stadium lights and realizing how small and how significant one moment can feel all at once.

It’s hard to believe that something that shaped so much of who I am can simply…end. Because you didn’t just fill my time—you filled parts of me I didn’t even know were empty. You gave me a place to fail without being finished, to struggle without being alone, to grow without always realizing it was happening.

You taught me that greatness is rarely loud. It isn’t the player with the highest batting average or the cleanest stat line. Sometimes, it’s the one who claps the loudest from the bench when their name isn’t called. The one who chooses encouragement over frustration, even when their own heart feels heavy. The one who understands that being part of a team means giving pieces of yourself away, again and again, without expecting recognition in return.

I’m not just saying goodbye to a sport—I’m saying goodbye to the girl who grew up between innings, who learned resilience in losses and humility in wins, who found her voice in dugouts and her strength in moments she wanted to give up but didn’t.

But even as I try to accept that this chapter is closing, I know you haven’t really left me. You’ve woven yourself into the way I think, the way I show up, the way I choose to keep going when things get hard. The lessons you taught me don’t stay on the field—they follow me into everything that comes next.

So maybe this isn’t really a goodbye. Maybe it’s just a quiet acknowledgment that something beautiful happened here, something lasting. Something that changed me in ways I’ll spend the rest of my life understanding.

Thank you for being more than a game. Thank you for being a part of me.
