THOR ( work in progress )

Inspired by the myths of northwestern Tunisia and El Arboun in Jendouba,
Thor is a ritual of transformation of a body returned from the dead.
Thor moves through grief, anger, and desire during a wedding night,
opening a cycle around what disappears.

This project is currently being developed within Un|controlled Gestures - 4th Edition , an initiative of the Goethe-Institut in cooperation with HAU Hebbel am Ufer Berlin and HELLERAU – European Center for the Arts (Dresden), curated by Nedjma Hadj Benchelabi

Chapter II : TRUST This second chapter of my upcoming work « THOR (Bull in Tunisian dialect) / مرثية الثور » with Albadil and the Massari project, under the direction of Selim Ben Safia.
For two weeks, I had the guidance of Oumaima Manai and Ahmed Ayed, who helped me open new doors and trust the unknown.
If Chapter 1 was about listening to my own intuition, this one was about learning to lean on others, to trust my collaborators, my body, and the process itself.

Deep gratitude to my collaborators Riga, Sidi Mahmoud Lahbib, Hajer Chaouech, and to El Hamra for hosting us (having RYM’s spirit present with me was powerful and grounding)

Shout-out as well to those who stood with me at the starting point of this project, and to my friends who are always reminding me to love myself and know my worth.

Walking the path of independence can sometimes feel solitary, but this residency reminded me that I am not alone. Trust is what allows me to keep moving, creating, and becoming.
Looking forward to what the next chapter will reveal …

و هذا شوي من جمعتين خدمة على العرض القادم ليا و اسمه «مرثية الثور» او "ثور" في اطار مشروع مرافقة كوريغرافية من البديل و مساري، تحت إشراف سليم بن صافية بمرافقة اميمة مناعي و احمد عياد اللي وجودهم عاوني نحل بيبان جدد.  
قامت فترة البحث الاولى في بلجيكيا على الإصغاء لحدسي أنا، اما الفترة هذي فهي فترة الثقه في الآخر،في المشروع، في جسدي، وفي المسار ككل.

ممتن برشا للفريق: ريڨا، سيدي محمود لحبيب، هاجر الشاوش و هو مازلنا نزيدوا…
وشكرا لمسرح الحمراء على الاستضافة (روحك يا ريم كانت موجودة معايا ديما).

تحية زادة للّي وقفوا معايا من بداية المشروع، وأصحابي اللي ديما يذكّروني نحب روحي ونعرف قيمتي.
طريق الاستقلالية صعب و يخلينا فترات نحسوا الوحدة ، أما هالإقامة ورّتني إنه فما ديما ناس كيفنا ، قادرين نخلوهم يمنوا بالمشروع بكل الثقة اللي تخلينا نخلقوا..
