What a beautiful week on the magical island of Ikaria ! Huge thank you to Giulia for inspiring me to join her on a spontaneous trip to join the low key delights of this Aegean spot. Always my favourite festival, Kala in Albania did it again. Huge thanks to @aka___juan , @nadjasvie and the Kala crew for this amazing week ❤️! I’m always there for @phonicarecords takeovers when it happens 🌱

@luthervinemusic and @riggamix brought their bags full of special records and blessed people at the @kalafestival for 5hours at the view point stage with their selection, it was a blast.

Second lot of photos from our Morocco adventure (with @luciajaimovich). After the Ameln valley, we headed to the surf town of Mirleft - great place you should visit ! - the glorious red sandstone arches of Legzira, the old Spanish enclave of Sidi Ifni then finally back to the touristy but charming village of Taghazout ! What a trip ! Got lots of tips if you need…. 🇲🇦 by @riggamix

What a beautiful trip to Southern Morocco! I’ve been wanting to go to the Ameln Valley for years and this May, i finally made it with my dear friend & road trip buddy @luciajaimovich ❤️🇲🇦 We flew in to Agadir before a little side trip to the small town of Tarandout and the luxurious , stunning @claudiobravopalace ! You need to stay here - the legacy of the Chilean artist! Then on to Tafraoute, the Ait Mansour gorge, Ouesmat village and the walk through the valley, the hospitality of all the places we stayed - such a beautiful place. Hit me up for any tips as it really is an area to be discovered. Part 2 to come taken in Tafraoute, Tata, Morocco by @riggamix

What a day! Record Store Day 2026 at Phonica was one of my favourite ones yet - great music, great people ! Some memories from my second week in Rajasthan: from Bikaner to the Blur City of Jodhpur to Udaipur, the lake city and then finally to the desert fort town of Jaisalmer. Had such a great time, met some amazing people and ate like a king..!!! by @riggamix

Heartbroken to share the news of the passing of our friend and colleague Nick Williams, who passed away at home on 21st December, after bravely battling cancer since March.

Nick was part of the heart of Phonica Records for 16 years. From behind the counter to shaping the spirit of the shop, he gave so much of himself to this place and to the community around it. His knowledge, generosity, humour, and passion for music touched countless artists, DJs, customers, and friends from all over the world.

Nick wasn’t just a colleague — he was family. The shop won’t feel the same without him, and he will be profoundly missed. My love and condolences go out to dearest Liz and his family.
Rest in peace, Nick. 💔 Posting this track too as it was a favorite of his , i’ve been listening to his epic 4 hour mix he did for us earlier this year…it really is amazing ! by @riggamix

@ivegotitonvinyl visited Phonica Records: London’s Vinyl Heartbeat

Launched in 2003, and founded in Soho by Simon Rigg, Heidi Van Den Amstel & the late and dearly missed, Mr Tom Relleen ❤️, defying vinyl’s decline with a bold dance music vision.

Pioneering electronic dealers, they became a magnet for DJs from all over the world.

Going forward to launch the label in 2009 debuted with staff-produced tracks, later releasing early Peggy Gou and others.

Hosting secret basement parties with the likes of Skream, Daniel Avery & Sherelle, fueled by craft beer & vinyl drops .

Expanding across to opening a store in Berlin, but Phonica has always stayed true to its Soho roots, recently celebrating 20 years of Phonica.
