How badly do you want change? I always say improving diversity, equity, and inclusion is like working out - you feel the burn before you see the gains - but it’s always worth the effort. Do not let this go over your head. I love you. #motivation #diversity #inclusion #chooseyourhard #dedication #success #rightdistraction #fyp by @rightdistraction

Honestly folks, is it just me or has life gotten a bit more challenging lately? The more I learn, the more complex the challenge seems to become. I’ve been trying and tested more times than I can count but I will never stop manifesting and affirming the fact that there’s beauty in the joy and the pain, if you choose to see it. I hope whatever life is presenting you with right now, you are keeping your head up high, using what you have wisely and trying to find the lessons and most importantly the love in it all. #proudauntie #love #myheart #passion #motivation #gratitude #viralreels #fyp by @rightdistraction

Went quiet. Built something.

Might change my whole life. Might be a terrible idea.

Either way… you’ll see. 🤫

#mayaangelou liberated all of us with love. Wherever it is you need to be. Whenever you need to say something. Whatever it is you need to do. Be there. Say it. Do it. Life is short and most people will waste a lot of time on woulda, coulda, shoulda. Try not to waste your energy on pointless excuses when you could be getting it done. Some definitely won’t get it so I’ll explain later, but diversity = love = liberation and the sooner we all get it, the better. I love you. Go. Be great. #diversity #motivation #inspiration #inclusion #work #love #positivevibes #rightdistraction #DiversityMatters #LoveWins #Motivated #Unity #Empowerment #SpreadLove #Positivity #StrengthInDiversity #MotivationalQuotes #Equality #SelfLove #DiverseCommunity #LoveIsLove #PositiveVibes #EmbraceDifferences #MotivationNation #KindnessMatters #free by @rightdistraction

A quick riddle for you - why are we always working so hard to get an “A” when the best things in life start with an “F”? 🤔 🤷🏽‍♀️ #grateful #family #friends #food #faith #failforward by @rightdistraction

Only counting the blessings, no longer counting the years. 35 blessed cycles around the sun surrounded by love, light and sometimes some really good lessons. Grateful for it all. I have everything I could ever need or want. Keeping my heart open and my head towards the sky and welcoming more joy, more peace, and more abundance… for all of us. We deserve it. #grateful #thirtythrive #stillcelebrating #idc 🥳🤷🏽‍♀️🥳 taken in Moved By Love by @rightdistraction

I hope wherever you are, you are clear about the value and impact you have on the world. Sometimes it can be hard to tell how much work you’ve done or how far you’ve come because the job isn’t done yet. Sometimes people will stay on the sidelines and make comments on your unfinished project or decide to try to find ways to prevent your progress because they can’t see the finish line or because they don’t like that you’re an MVP 🤷🏽‍♀️

Don’t let that discourage you though. Staying in the game will always be a challenge. You’re doing great and haters definitely gonna hate but if you love yourself first, you can find love for the haters too. Include them anyway. Let their options and negative reactions inform your plan so you can make it fool proof. And when it’s all said and done, make sure to thank them for their support.

If something feels right, I do it. If it feels wrong, I don’t. It’s really very simple. You’ve got to be willing to take your chances doing the stuff that may look crazy to others or not doing something that looks right to others, but feels wrong to you.
