this year, i was forced to slow down immensely.

it made me realize that i had been living with my eyes half open these past 2-3 years, going 100 mph from the moment i got out of bed. hustling to a workout class and running from meeting to meeting to dinner to a birthday to only get home and do it all over again. my nervous system was completely shot and dysregulated.

and truthfully, i’ve always thrived when life moves fast.

but at what cost?

living so quickly i couldn’t even take the time to appreciate the way the warm sun feels as it settles on my face first thing in the morning, or noticing how the flowers in my neighborhood had started to bloom, or taking the time to add details, like curtains, to my home making it feel like the sanctuary I craved and deserved.

there is so much magic to be found in the little details and moments when you make the time to see them. I’m so grateful that this journey has forced me to slow down and notice what really makes my cup full all over again.

the last time i felt this way was when i was living slowly and intentionally in laguna. and turns out, it was when when i was my healthiest, most inspired and successful version of myself.

so even if you only have 20 minutes in the morning before life begins to move quickly - take it!! write down what you notice, and i promise those little moments, observations, and interactions will make you feel more alive and more abundant than ever🤎

Forever one of my favorite places to feel inspired. Whether it’s a morning meeting, working on a pitch deck, or a sunday morning coffee with a friend - @palmasantamonica @santamonicaproper is always the source for me 🤌🏽 @kellywearstler can truly do no wrong. taken in Santa Monica Proper Hotel by @rightfootcreative_

sometimes you just need a little desert disassociation. so so grateful for a few days away to help me clear my mind, feel reinspired, disconnect, and live a little bit slower.

if you’re looking to do the same highly recommend checking out @sunnyslopehouse - a place full of peace and magic 🌞

@ladystasta you’ve built such an incredible oasis - thank you🖤
