Thank you to @ecoflight for taking the @usskiteam @ussnowboardteam @usparaskisnowboard athletes on a flight over Great Salt Lake!

Great Slat Lake provides 5-10% of the snow in the Wasatch, and up to 60% of the annual precipitation in the Salt Lake Valley.

As the lake shrinks, so does Utah’s iconic powder.

Saving Great Salt Lake means saving our snow!

What a day! Joe did AWESOME and ended up 8th place at his first Paralympic Games! So proud of him and all he's accomplished!
But...he had a fall on his last race and broke his wrist. He was able to finish the race and was immediately taken to medical and then transported to the hospital for evaluation. It's a pretty nasty break that will require surgery when he gets back home. The great doctors here stabilized it and put him in a cast.
But, in true Joe fashion, he is hoping to be able to race next weekend...in a cast. He has a few days break to let things settle. Hoping the best for him and a quick recovery! by @rightfootedjoe

Jamie‘s fourth birthday is tomorrow.

And it is so crazy to think of all that’s happened in these past four years. Four years ago today, I was in the labor and delivery room being put on Pitocin to start labor which lasted about 30 hours… And as I was in the bed getting the Pitocin drip, Joe and I were watching all the US Paralympic team drop into the start gate and race from the hospital. Joe was very close to going to the Paralympics but didn’t. And boy am I glad because he was my rock during labor and delivery.

Even funnier, the last time Joe got a podium was right before Jamie was born so he had a mustache when she was born. It all came full circle because he got his next podium about a month ago and he has a mustache again but this time Jamie‘s four.

And now, we get to celebrate her fourth birthday in Italy tomorrow! So excited to be here to cheer him on! taken in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy by @rightfootedjoe

Woohoo!!! Joe is on a plane heading to Italy for the games!
He will be competing in Bordercross on March 7 & 8 and in Banked Slalom on March 14.
