its something unpredictable, but in the end its right. i was never a confident person. Sure, i talk infront of people, i debate and im outgoing. But deep down, I have always been insecure. “Do i belong here?” “It must be nice to achieve your dreams.” Back then, 8A+ seemed impossible, let alone getting my dream scholarship. My flaw is that i didnt believe in myself. Imposter syndrome clouds my judgement regarding my own potential. But ibu and ayah always knew id be here. How? Because they know me better than anyone else. It seemed silly because i always thought of myself as average, and being on a pedestal was never my thing. Turns out, i was wrong. And people still took a chance on me. Throughout my years in highschool, i was never quiet. I liked proving i was right, and those who knew me back then, this led me to a downfall. But i persevered and i stayed. I stopped and i prayed. I let go, and i let God. Who wouldve known id be here at 18, being trusted with an award so special, I can see my future like how i dreamt of it way back then. This is only the start of my journey into becoming something more, and i only have my friends and family to thank for it. Here is to the start of something beautiful! Alhamdulillah. by @rihafadhlan
