Live well !!! ^___^

My second pride piece, this one dedicated to my fellow trans friends, especially my trans sisters!! :-) lots and lots of feelings and thoughts that made decide to center on them which im not sure i can articulate in just one post but i will try…

Back in the first huge feminist project i co-led, we worked with a local transwomen organization and i met so many amazing women there. We talked about their life experiences, their struggles, their aspirations… they told us about how only one of them was able to pursue higher education, and i remember feeling both so amazed and so angry (baby rei’s first grassroots experience lol)

Transwomen have always been on the frontlines of our fight for liberation, and i’m so proud to have met so many incredible ones in my life!! The kindest, smartest, most resilient people i’ve ever met!!! I’m not good with words, but i wish just this little note and art is enough to show just how incredibly grateful and proud i am of my trans sisters… I love you i love you please keep living and live well!!! I’ll stop now before i get super sniffly…

Happy pride month!!!

ice cold—a little vent comic i made about the anxiety attack i had yesterday.

It always feels too vulnerable to share about the deep parts of my mental illness to my friends, much less on a whole public account. But im struggling so much and dont know who or where to go.

I think ive lost half the people who wished me kind prayers after my admission to a psych ward here, but my anxiety attacks used to be terrifying. They were so bad i would get paralyzed, pass out, and had to be carried in an ambulance. The worst of this happened in 2023, and ive gotten much better since then. Which is why the anxiety attack i had yesterday made me feel like i was dunked in ice cold water.

Sometimes anxiety chokes and paralyzes you before you could even ask for help. Its terrifying, but i’ll get through it like ive always done
