FAUST is premiering tomorrow. The result of a lot peoples intensive labour, focus and heart. It is also my debut as a composer and sounddesigner in theater - and what a beast of a piece (and stage) to be debuting on!

First of all a big shoutout to @leaclsn and @mayakareislivingstone for inviting me and putting faith in my work. And thanks to @bettynansenteatret for housing me and the massive support it has taken to put up such an ambitious piece. And of course, thanks to all the actors for giving it out fully on stage!

@sweetboiii95 and i did an extra night in the scenography of our graduation project "feminine octagon" at the national school of performing arts - just to shoot some of the aspects of lighting and sound on their own terms.

There are both sounds from that particular project but also 2 odd balls from other projects occurs. by @riiichardt

Stills and excerpts from my BA project in performing arts.

My first endeavour in doing something that was funded so strongly in my own body moving and performing. Still obviously very occupied with doing and discovering sounds - but maybe even more occupied with the experience of listening. An excersise of "tuning in" and reaching for some of the deeper layers of listening. But also joyfully committing to unexplainable weirdness and fun.

A big shoutout to Joana Öhlschläger for all her reflections and insights that guided this piece into its being what it is. by @riiichardt

Slowly uncovering what this beauty has to offer.

Its definitely new territory in terms of how to play this instrument, but it reveals itself in so many tiny sonic details.

I have been working with Joana Öhlschläger (ooonce again) and all the sweet sweet 1st year students from dance and choreography in Holstebro.

A well measured madness, both in terms of physical and sonic material. Looking much forward to be doing some partly improvised bonkers sounds for this one, premering next week!!!! by @riiichardt

En masse arbejde og fiddlen rundt, kulminerer i vores forestilling der hedder HAM - som har premiere på fredag.

For mig, en masse nye eksperimenter med at skabe kompositioner der gør brug af immersive og spatielle lydteknikker, der samtidig undersøger stiliserede udtryk af musikken jeg endnu ikke har prøvet kræfter med. Til dette arbejde går en ekstra stor tak fra mig ud til musikalsk biddrag fra @harmony_gilgamesh og hans fantastiske instrument "Ootwo" - og @remygouffault for trommespil! by @riiichardt

Oooh there is more, this little thing i did came alongside that other thing during the weekend on @publicfroth

Big shout out to @postpons on the art and love for the kogsbølle crew.

Relax fantasy for business

The intention for creating this tape, came after we collected a huge collection of 2nd hand tapes. While sorting out and listening to some of these tapes, we discovered that a lot of the material hidden within them was truly marvellous. The idea to cut up and rework this material into its own thing came to us and thus here we are.

The sound sources within this tape consists of sampled voices from the “odd ones out” of all the 2nd hand tapes along with a Yamaha Electone model B-5DR. All the tracks where created under the timeframe “one track per day” and the running order of the tracks on this release are layed out in the same linear chronology they were created in. by @riiichardt

Ap iazu - Crashworthy Devices

A collection of works made for bodies in performative situations throughout the years 2023-2024. In this format, the sonic material has been detached from the physical components for which they were composed - body and space - thus attaining a new but also somewhat disabled life on its own.
