Here’s one of the amazing moments of my trip to Trinidad & Tobago. In this video I’m speaking to kids from ‘Eastern Boys’ Government School.’—all boys school in the south of Port of Spain. I hope my words and efforts can penetrate these boys and plant a seed where in the future, during difficult moments, they can better assess themselves and the situation.

Mental Health is not an adults issue—it’s an everyone’s issue. Let’s take responsibility for the wellbeing of children and teach them to become more self aware.

the consequence of empathy is overthinking. a truth empaths know very well, but struggle to come to terms with.

being a bad person is easy—but, being a good person is hard. i guess i just summarized the current state of the world.

it’s no coincidence that we dance under disco balls at the club. for centuries dance has been a ritualistic activity, way before the concept of “going out to dance” became a thing.

i feel that partying is useless if it’s not done with intention. feel your emotions as you move. let your tension and repressed thoughts come out from hiding. if you need to cry let it out. don’t let the trance, add another layer to your blockade. let the trance, transport you to a new location where release meets clarity.

next time you party, remember that you’re not just dancing under a disco ball. you are purging, you are invoking, you are traveling within—give it purpose.

hi instagram,

today is december 1st, a date that holds a lot of meaning for me. last year on this very day, i made a promise: every december 1st, i will sacrifice something for an entire year. why? because i believe manifestation without sacrifice defies the laws of alchemy. if i want my life to change, i must also change the way i pursue manifestation.

and no, i’m not trying to manifest the stereotypical things—money, power, “abundance,” properties, or material desires. i’m manifesting love, compassion, mercy, transformation, happiness, understanding… everything that transcends.

so what did i give up? for the last 365 days, i let go of coffee. i chose coffee for many reasons, but the most important was that God placed it in my heart to give my nervous system the love and attention it deserved. our nervous system plays a vital role in the human experience. for me, mine had been limiting my ability to feel fully alive—something i’ll dive deeper into another time. but this past year, i found myself praying subconsciously every single day, not with my voice, but with my sacrifice. i let go of something that brought temporary satisfaction to make space for something that brings eternal healing.

am i fully healed? maybe not. but am i on my way? absolutely.

today, i begin a new sacrifice for the next 365 days. stay tuned for next year—God willing—to find out what it is 🦋
