Together with Faye Bas Backer we are proud to present a preview of our latest design of the upcoming publication by Hat & Beard in their Singular Cinema Series: SV105401, The Blade Runner Contact Sheets by photographer Stephen Vaughan.

The book reverse-engineers this beloved film using the original contact sheets and other ephemera from Vaughan’s archive. Carefully selected in collaboration with editors Dionne Jones @duhvine_senor and @mrjcgabel from the 7000+ frames of Stephen Vaughan's Blade Runner contact sheet archive.

SV105401 will feature original essays by Blade Runner scholar and historian Paul Sammon; TV writer Bill Fordes; actress @joannacassidyofficial; sci-fi novelist and culture critic Joanne McNeil @joanneislurking and screenwriter, producer and director of the Stephen Vaughan Archive Dionne Jones. Le livre déconstruit ce film culte en s’appuyant sur les planches-contacts d’époque et d’autres objets d’archive de Stephen Vaughan. Le contenu a été soigneusement sélectionné, en collaboration avec les éditeurs Dionne Jones @duhvine_senor et @mrjcgabel, parmi les 7 000 vues des planches-contacts de l’archive Blade Runner de Stephen Vaughan.

SV105401 réunira des essais inédits écrits par Paul Sammon (historien et spécialiste de Blade Runner), Bill Fordes (scénariste pour la télévision), l’actrice @joannacassidyofficial, Joanne McNeil @joanneislurking (critique culture) ainsi que Dionne Jones (scénariste, productrice et directrice des archives Stephen Vaughan). Un petit aperçu de ce dernier livre: Boisgeloup, l’Arcadie de Picasso.
Paru à l’initiative d’Almine et Bernard Ruiz-Picasso à l’occasion de l’exposition sur la vie et le travail de Pablo Picasso à Boisgeloup entre 1930 et 1935.
Photographies d’époque, de la famille, des amis de passage et des sculptures accompagnées de reproductions de gravures, le tout ingénieusement mise en contexte par les commissaires Delphine Huisinga et Ross Finocchio. Plus des photos dans un prochain post.
