The challenge in this kitchen was creating a true wow factor without adding visual chaos. With the beautiful marble flooring, dramatic countertops, and striking gold hood already commanding attention, the art needed to complement rather than compete. I hand painted a custom glass backsplash feature wall that unified these elements, adding depth, movement and luxury while maintaining a calm, cohesive aesthetic. #interiordesign #interiordesigner #homedecor #commissionedart #customart taken in Airmont, New York by @rikiglassart

The inspiration for this washing station was based on this wallpaper. The objective was to create a more abstract interpretation, and include the surrounding colors in the restaurant such as gold and terracotta. #interiordesign #sink#featurewall #restaurantdecor #commissionedart taken in Lakewood, New Jersey by @rikiglassart

This rare fireplace made with hand painted fire safe glass turns even a small space into something striking and unforgettable.
The flame moves through layered color and light, shifting the entire mood of the room.
It’s a sculptural focal point, unexpected, distinctive, and unlike anything else you will find.#Fireplace #interiordesign #customart #Jewishartist #interiordesigner taken in New York, N.Y. by @rikiglassart

This was really fun to create! A reverse hand painted glass coffee table blending contemporary design with old world gold gilded detailing.
Accented with geometric cracked mirror and subtle hints of pink.
A bespoke one of one piece that feels both bold and timeless. .

Such an incredible day at the JWE, surrounded by inspiring Jewish women entrepreneurs who are building meaningful careers and running their homes with intention. So much wisdom honesty and shared support in one space. Grateful to learn connect and grow together.#jwe #interiordesign #interiordesigner #bespokeart #commissionedart by @rikiglassart

This piece is all about contrast. It brings that bold pop art energy but still feels really elegant and elevated. The hand painted glass has these fluid squiggle shapes in black over silver leaf that catch the light beautifully. It has texture, movement, and a bit of attitude, but the shape and structure keep it feeling refined and luxurious. It is dramatic in a way that still feels polished and intentional, a fun and elegant statement piece for the room.#interiordesign #interiordesigner #homedecor #coffeetable #customtable taken in New York, N.Y. by @rikiglassart

The client loved the shape of their existing table but the color and design were not working in the space.

So we reimagined it entirely. I painted the base in a deep black to create cohesiveness with the black piano and black surrounding accents and created a custom hand painted glass tabletop that pulls in the surrounding entryway colors, layered with gold and silver leaf for added dimension and light.

The result is a dramatic, eye catching transformation that instantly makes the entry feel more cohesive, elevated, and welcoming.#tabledesign #bespokefurnituredesign #interiordesign #interiordesigner #commissionedart taken in Monsey, New York by @rikiglassart

The goal with this fireplace was to merge feminine and masculine elements into a sculptural surface in a cohesive visual statement. As is seen by pairing subtle lilac and blue tones with delicate gold accents, balanced by silver leaf and layered texture to create a refined metallic depth. #Fireplace #bespokedesignservice #interiordesign #archtecturaldigest #luxedesign taken in Dix Hills, New York by @rikiglassart

I was commissioned to create a Picasso-inspired, hand-painted glass piece featuring bold, vibrant colors, a floating effect, and a clean frameless finish. Translating that classic, iconic style onto glass felt like a meaningful way to honor its timeless influence while giving it a fresh, modern twist.#Picasso #modernart #interiordesign #commissionedart #originalartwork taken in New York, New York by @rikiglassart
