A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of planning, hosting, and bringing my College Readiness Event to life!

If you know me, then you know how personal this is for me & how long Ive been working to pull this together FROM 600 miles away lol!! As a first-generation college student, I know how overwhelming it can be trying to navigate college on your own. There were so many things I didn’t know, resources I didn’t have access to, and questions I didn’t even know to ask until it felt almost too late.

I had the opportunity to stand alongside other college students and share our experiences, lessons, and advice with high school students, as they’re getting ready to start their college journeys.

With the help of my amazing community partners, we were also able to provide students with professional headshots and college care packages filled with essentials like Twin XL sheets, shower caddies, toothbrushes, toothpaste, towels, and more.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible. I genuinely appreciate you all sooooo much!! My heart is full, and I’m excited to continue finding ways to pour into the next generation of students. 🤍🤍🤍🤍 by @rikiyaanicolee
