this is mr finn & he needs your help. finn came into my life through my partner, beaux, and has been the snuggliest, little love bug. finn’s liver was shutting down the other week which resulted in a 2 day stay at the pet hospital and a feeding tube. after losing ruru this year, pet care has felt exceptionally triggering and the risk of losing another animal is really weighing on my heart.

health wise, finn is making an excellent recovery and some of his energy has been coming back to him, his playful spirit showing up in glimpses through the day. financially, this has really burdened beaux & i. the cost of initial care is astonishing, and liver shut down requires long term care & stabilization. we have vet appointments bi-weekly that are filled with tests, labs, speciality food and meds.

we really do not want to let the financial burden of it to result in having to surrender our baby boy. especially now, when we are slowly seeing him come back to us. we have put together a gofund me, the ultimate goal being $8K, but currently it’s started at $3.5K. anything you can offer in support is incredible & we are forever grateful. no amount is too small, even a share can make a world of difference.

Some of my favorite hairs from this year (or just the ones I actually had time to take pictures of 😅😜)

This was my first year on the floor & I am so grateful for every body that sat in my chair and made it special. I have the coolest job. Let’s do this New Year right 😎💋

Ins for 2024:
-Natural hair
-Bangs & bits always
-Prioritizing scalp health
-Warm, rich colors
-Stretch breaks
-Leaving reviews for service workers
-Collaborative appointments. Speak up if you want something different!
-Drinking a lot of water

Outs:
-Fried/dead hair and holding onto every bit you can. Just start fresh babe. (this is a major note to self)
-Box dye. If you want to dye your hair at home please ask for recommendations on which brands are better 🩷
-Snacks instead of full lunches
-Coming to your appointment when you don’t feel well. I’d rather you reschedule & rest up
