This morning I lost my grandma. She was the perfect example of how every grandmother should be. She was always so welcoming and made sure you were never hungry. She would support me in volleyball every chance she got even if it was her watching it on the TV from home. Her texts that told me how proud she was of me are what motivated me to keep doing my best. I will miss the sleepovers and watching movies with you. I will miss seeing you standing there with a big smile on your face singing happy birthday. I will miss your hugs and how you squeezed me so tight and all of your kisses. I wish you could still be here, but I know that you aren’t in pain anymore.
