Earlier this week I was asked what one thing I will take away from cheerleading and I honestly struggled because I couldn’t possibly think of just one thing. Cheerleading made me who I am and I think that anyone who truly knows me would completely agree. It sounds stupid but even on my worst days I knew everything would be okay because I could always go to practice and all my worries would go away. Every time I entered the doors of double down I was met with unconditional love and kindness that I couldn’t possibly find elsewhere. A heart cannot break if it was never full in the first place and cheerleading has filled my heart an infinite amount of times.

Elektra- I hope you all know that this was never just a team to me. We are a family with a legacy that will live on forever. My life has been permanently changed by every single person who has ever worn “Elektra” on their chest and I wouldn’t have it any other way. There will always be a special place in my heart for all of you. Thank you for the best last season.

Jenn & Hannah- I struggle to find words that could ever encapsulate the depth of my gratitude toward you. I can never thank you enough for all of the lessons that you have taught me. Not just about cheerleading, but about strength, growth, and believing in myself. But most importantly, thank you for loving me unconditionally. Your impact on my life is something that I will carry with me forever and ever.
