Came in May to watch my brothers compete, got to come in July and show them how it’s done 😜|| Not only did I get to celebrate my Dads birthday 🎂 I was given an opportunity to compete and challenge myself. || I truly never take these moments for granted. Every game, every touch on the ball, and every challenge against great competition helps me grow, learn, and become a better player. That’s what I love most about this journey. Thank you @jrvictorvega for the challenge to grow, to the Rev Girls for letting me share the field with them 🩵🖤🤍. All of you are amazing! I’m leaving this weekend with a full heart, new and continued friendships, deeper bonds, more confidence, and so much motivation to keep working. What a fun experience. So blessed for every opportunity to step on the field and continue chasing my goals. 🤟🏼😜 || This weekend was HOTTTT 🥵🔥 and when I say I had to dig deep… I mean DEEP. But I pushed through the heat, kept working, kept fighting, and we walked away with that DUB! 🏆 @dallastexans2019g

This past weekend was tons of fun 👏🏼 from sun up to sun down we competed, played, and enjoyed the spooky vibes! Cancer is ugly. There really isn’t another way to put it. Our family knows the heartbreak that comes with this disease. We lost our Toñito to myeloma, and although October specifically brings awareness to breast cancer, our hearts are with anyone who has ever had to hear the word “cancer.”
Every cancer is different. Every fight is different. But behind every diagnosis is a person who is loved, a family praying, and people holding onto hope. And I think that’s the beautiful thing about faith — even when you know how scary the road can be, you still pray for the best outcome. You still hope for healing. You still believe that God can make a way. You carry a faith in your heart that is ignited by one goal… please Lord heal the one we love.
October hits a little closer to home. Someone who is a special part of Riley’s journey since birth is facing a fight of her own, and while that story isn’t ours to tell, just know we are standing beside her, praying a little harder and believing wholeheartedly in the best possible outcome. Her strength and conviction is absolutely awe inspiring.
A true warrior 🎀 So this month, we stand with those fighting breast cancer, but we also stand with anyone fighting this ugly disease in any form. We pray for healing. We pray for strength. We pray for the doctors, the families, and every person walking beside them. And we pray that more and more people get the outcome every family hopes and prays for.

For those fighting, keep fighting.
For those who have survived, we celebrate you.
And for the ones we’ve lost, we carry you with us always. 🎀

One thing about Ry…

She’s going to find you. She’s going to read the play. She’s going to make the right call. She’ll create for somebody else, track you down on defense, fight through contact, take the space herself, or put her body on the line if that’s what the moment calls for.

And please don’t let her size fool you.

Ry has been one of the smallest players on damn near every team she’s ever played on, and somehow she still comes out that door ready for BATTLE. Bigger? She doesn’t care. Stronger? Cool. Older? Line them up.

She plays aggressive. She plays physical. She doesn’t shy away from contact because soccer IS a physical sport, and she’s never needed anybody to make the game easier for her.

But what makes her different isn’t just that fight.

It’s the IQ. The vision. The ability to find her teammates. The willingness to defend. The speed. The heart. The fact that she will do whatever her team needs and give everything she has while doing it. Still learning and growing in every aspect of her soccer journey. Some people come into your life as coaches. Some have been there so long they feel more like family.

Coach Swag and Coach C have known me since before I could even walk. I grew up watching them train my sister, hanging around the gym, and being the little one on the sidelines. Now I’m the one getting to train, work, learn and grow with them. There’s something pretty special about that.

Been a minute, so being back felt a little different. Not just because I missed the work, but because I missed being around people who have always been some of my biggest hype people.

They don’t let me say I can’t. They don’t let me doubt myself. They push me, challenge me, remind me what I’m capable of and make sure I understand that whatever I set my heart on, I better believe I can go after it.

Having people in your corner who knew you before the athlete, before the goals and before you even knew what you were capable of means more than I can explain. They’ve watched me grow from the very beginning, and they still continue to pour into me, believe in me and expect more out of me.

So yeah, back to regular programming.

Back to being uncomfortable. Back to being pushed. Back to doing the work when nobody is watching.

The goals didn’t get smaller while I was away.

Pt2 🎬 : SAN ANTONIO WAS A VIBE. So much fun getting to travel, compete, bond with my team, and just PLAY. We stepped into an older bracket, played up all weekend, faced some real competition, and still fought our way ALL THE WAY TO THE FINALS.
