Did an exercise to try and recreate the drum sounds to one of my fav jams by Nikka Costa called “Can’tNeverDidNuthin’”. Got pretty darn close and had a s*it ton of fun. Also, trying to do my best Abe Laboriel Jr on the drums impression. 🤘🏼🤘🏼 @lautenaudio mics on the toms, snare and kick for the win 🔥🔥 🥁 🎤 🎙️

RIP Glen Hansard. Along with Marketa Irglova, this man wrote one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard in my life called “Falling Slowly” from the movie “Once”. Every time, every single time, I hear it I actively cry. I can’t help it. It’s that amazing. If you’ve never seen the movie I highly recommend it. It’s beautiful. 💔😔 by @rimshot_studio_sf
