Behold!! My first manga ever!! It’s a thrill to finally be able to upload it. I made this for school, as well as to enter a manga competition hosted by @sakura_europe !!
I really hope you enjoy reading this! I had a lot of fun making it :D

I made this manga, with the idea of it having to be short in mind. Not having a lot of time outside of school, I had to come up with a compact story, filled with excitement in some way! I decided to make my story similar to a gag manga like Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, and it turned into this lol. Yamada Hiroshi - the MC - was designed to look as normal as could be, whilst the measures he takes to get to school are contrast to that.
I sketched the art in pencil, then used my picks micron Sakura pens for the line art, scanned the pages in and greyscaled them, digitally.
———
SYNOPSIS:
Yamada Hiroshi is on his way to the bus stop to get the school, but the bus arrives fashionably early. Not having imagined such a thing was possible he’s at risk of missing the bus entirely, which ultimately does happen. Hiroshi is prepared to go above and beyond to make it to school on time. Considering the obstacles along the way, will he manage?!

Farewell, my angel. 🕊️

May the grassy fields give you plenty of room to play.
May the clouds be so soft you would take naps on them all day.
May you be able to run as fast as you’ve always wanted to go.
May the sun always bring you pleasant warmth.
May you have had a warm welcome from everyone.
May you still be watching over me.
May you still follow me around.
May you still lie on my chest.
May I see you again, some other day.

This is Shinami! She comes from a selkie/sea serpent type human subspecies that can live on land as well as in the ocean. She breathes air and will have to resurface every 12 hours or so to breathe if she spends her time underwater.
———
Her skin turns more grey when it’s wet, and is more like this when she’s been in the sun drying up. She also has #vitiligo .
———
She loves animals on land. Especially those that thrive in deserts, like fennec foxes!

Very proud of this guy! His name is Hano Takehiko (武彦ハノ) and he’s a resident of a sky island.

Every person of this sky island human race has tiny wings on their back. They don’t really do anything anymore, as they’ve gotten smaller and smaller over the millennia with new forms of transport being used way more commonly as it’s more efficient and less tiring than flying with your own wings.

Hano’s job is traffic controller. He stands in the middle of busy crossings when the traffic lights are down, directing the cars crossing.

I’d like to draw him more. Maybe I can use him in a manga someday :3

I decided to be less picky about what I post. I never like to post just a sketch, but with uni being a thing, the most I produce are sketches like this.
Get ready for some new OCs and such! 🩵💙🤍

This is Kamina Odorimi, and she’s my fantasy #vtuber model.
She plays games, draws, just chats and ASMR.
Her emoji is: ⭐️
Fandom name: Odoriminions? Kamichans? idk chat should decide lol
———
I never designed a bottom half for her, but her skirt consists of various materials of various lengths, clustered together.
She wears stockings very similar to the sleeve thingy on her forearm, with some of those holes being star shaped.
She wears ankle boots, light blue? in color with thicker black heels and black laces.

I redrew #sakurasensei from #gakkougurashi for my grandparents after around 5 years! It’s crazy to see how far I’ve come doing this, I think! The way I etched my line art back then lol~

The quality on insta sucks, so if you're interested, you can check the good-quality version out on Imgur. Add /a/OR6b3K6 at the end of the general Imgur link :>
