I know I’m not the easiest dog.

I’m part Husky, which means I have a lot of feelings, a lot of energy, and, apparently, a lot to say. I howl. A lot.

And I know that can be difficult for some people.

For a while, I think everyone was a little worried about whether the right person would ever come along for me. I had already been returned once, and I kept being offered for adoption.

But maybe I didn’t need just anyone to take me home.

Maybe I needed someone who understood me.

Someone who knew what it was like to live with a Husky. Someone who wouldn’t expect me to be quiet or perfectly behaved just because I had finally found a home. Someone who would give me time to settle in and figure things out.

I think I finally found that person.

So if you’re thinking about adopting, I hope you remember that dogs like me aren’t looking for someone who thinks we’re perfect.

We’re looking for someone who knows what they’re signing up for, sees us for who we are, and is willing to stay.

Because being chosen is nice.

But being understood is everything.

Meet John Michael!

John Michael was rescued on June 19, 2026, from Cubao, along with more than 20 other puppies. Today, he’s ready to find a family who will love him and give him a home where he can grow up feeling safe and cared for.

And if adopting isn’t possible for you right now, you can still be part of his story.

Thank you for spending the past few days with our Biyaya rescues, Globe! 🧡

We are happy to have welcomed Globe to Biyaya Animal Sanctuary, where they took part in assisting the daily operations to care for over 2,000 rescues for their employee engagement experience!

The three batches of visitors were able to get a glimpse of how caring inside the sanctuary looks like. From feeding, grooming, donating, and even helping give their homes a new look, we are grateful for the help they extended.

We hope to welcome you again soon!
