ONNA announces the release of “Heart Wants,” the debut original single from Rina Ford, arriving February 13 alongside a cinematic music video.

This marks Ford’s first release with ONNA. Written years after the experience that inspired it, “Heart Wants” reflects on desire, emotional imbalance, and self-recognition—less a traditional love song than a quiet moment of clarity. Ford’s restrained, intimate delivery allows vulnerability to surface without excess, situating the song at the intersection of cinematic alternative pop and atmospheric songwriting.

In keeping with ONNA’s mission, a portion of proceeds from “Heart Wants” will support conservation efforts at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv Botanical Garden in western Ukraine, reinforcing a model where artistic expression contributes directly to ecological stewardship.

“Heart Wants” out February 13.

🌀This song is about the emptiness I felt being with - and being left by someone who was chasing fame. It’s about seeing their true nature behind the curtain of who they pretend to be in the public eye.
