faux florals by @auroraandcoevents 🌷 because allergies run in the family😅 but honestly, they turned out SOOOO beautiful!! they didn’t wilt, looked fresh the entire day, and no one could believe they weren’t real!💜

our reception menu 🍽️ still dreaming about this selection 🤤 and the burnt pavlova was absolute perfection!! 🍓 our little nod to the place we now call home 🇦🇺🤍

champagne shower 🍾😂 we also had charcuterie (and more champagne lol) while taking photos with our bridal party! we had the loveliest staff looking after us throughout, from chauffeuring us around in a golf buggy to bringing out food, topping up our champagne and making sure we had everything we needed. @hillstonestlucia really went above and beyond, we were genuinely so spoilt!✨ it honestly made the whole reception feel so effortless and was easily the most relaxed part of wedding planning 💕

my girls 💕 the most beautiful bridesmaids who helped make the whole day so special (and kept me somewhat sane 😅)

our bridal party having a little chill time before our entrance during dinner 🥂 our venue also prepared canapés for us, which was SO appreciated because we’re never letting anyone get hangry 😂🩷

walking in our venue as a married couple 🥂🥹 still feels a little crazy seeing photos of this because… wdym we’re husband and wife?! SO BLESSED 😭

When we chose The Vow as one of our first dance songs, one lyric felt special yet also familiar:

“We’ve been through hurt, but I thank the broken road that led me into your arms.”

For years, I dreamt of walking down the aisle to Bless the Broken Road from Hannah Montana The Movie. Long before there was a wedding, long before there was an “us,” I already knew that song would be part of my story.

Then somehow, years later, I found myself marrying the love of my life… walking down the aisle to Bless The Broken Road, sharing our first dance to The Vow by Ed Sheeran and Crazier by Taylor Swift (the very same Taylor Swift song that lived in that movie and in my daydreams lol).✨

From a girl dreaming about her future through movie soundtracks to standing in front of you @mamamamrvn, saying my vows… the broken road really did lead me straight into your arms, exactly where I was always meant to be.💖
