My birthday month came with some of my favorite things! 🍰

I can’t stress enough that finding joy in the small, sweet moments is truly as good life gets. And while (if you’re feeling greedy) this may come as a disappointment—I know I’ve been guilty of it—if you become great at savoring simple pleasures, I suspect the sum of it will lead to having done life right 🌻 by @rinconcito.vero

Hola, Hola 👋🏼✨ It’s Vero 💛 I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself!

I’m one of the few (and proud) who has lived in Orlando their whole life. And in my Puerto Rican home, gathering with loved ones has always been a priority.

I’d always been “good at events,” and now that I’m in my 30s, I think I’m finally starting to begin to understand what that means.

When it came time to pick my major, I opted for an Event Management degree at UCF with a minor in nonprofit management. My love for the community led me to return to complete my masters in Public Admin. Throughout my time studying, I had the amazing opportunity to learn about events and the community I live in by working for both local legends (including TDPP & Devereaux) to national brands. And even after starting my dream gig at @cafecitomioorlando , all the roads in my life always led me back to creating experiences that left an impression and impacted others in a positive way. These passions led me to start @cookbookclub.orl and to co-host @gilmorlando_ .

At the end of the day for me, though, everything I do is with the motivation to make my role in home & family my most memorable legacy. Which is that much sweeter with my husband, Brandon, and family by my side 💛

I really love creating an experience where people can step out of their regular routine by wandering into something magical for a bit—and that’s exactly what I look forward to doing at @fridaynightdinner.orl
