New scars ♥️ A week and a half ago, I donated a kidney to a family member who I deeply love and look up to in so many ways. Recovery has been tough and it’s very much still in progress, but I’m healing well so far. I feel so blessed to be able to give a piece of me to help them live a fuller life, and I feel incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful support system around me while I heal! Although it’s much less serious that the healing process itself, I’m also so glad that the world has become so much more accepting of “imperfections” like the scars that I’ve acquired from the procedure. Not too long ago, I would have had to kiss my brand partnerships and modeling career goodbye after a surgery like this, that would leave me with visible scars. But times are changing, and I couldn’t be more proud to show off my scars! And I feel lucky to be working with brands that support me, scars and all. ♥️ To me, my scars are a symbol of strength, bravery, and my capacity to give and love. I have no intention of hiding them, and if anybody who photographs me photoshops them out they can catch these hands!! ✨Introducing the LA Unbound Showgirls! ✨ I truly loved choreographing this piece! This is the largest piece I’ve concepted, featuring 32 stunning dancers. It was a huge undertaking (maybe a little over ambitious) to try to stage this style of piece with so many people, but if you know me you know the best way to motivate me is to tell me it cant be done 💀 A massive thank you to @launbound for giving me the opportunity to bring this piece to the stage, to @livartdance for being a wonderful rehearsal space, @righteousrobot for capturing this beautiful video, and to my dance captains @dearteejay and @jparkk1447 for helping in a million different ways during the process! Bonus thank you to @cesidiamaria and @taylorjustine530 who helped make hairpieces for a piece they weren’t even in!
