Some conversations leave you thinking, “Wait a minute! Did I really have a conversation with this person?

@kabutey_my_mc on The Career Trail! Someone pinch me! 🥹❤️

From hosting Ghana’s presidential inauguration to Sarkodie’s wedding, MC Kabutey has hosted some of the biggest events.

One thing I love about Career Trail is that every conversation teaches me something new. Every guest leaves me with a different perspective, a new lesson, or something to think about.

I’m always grateful for the opportunity to share these stories and create a space where we can learn from the journeys of others. ❤️

The episode will air @4pm on Joy Learning TV & @6:30pm on Joy News. See ya! ✌️

Every time I’m about to begin a new season of The Career Trail, I get scared. And I mean genuinely scared.

You would think that by now, I would have figured it all out. But every new season comes with its own fears, uncertainties, and sometimes, tears.

There are moments when I have absolutely no list of guests. Zero. I start making calls, only to hear, “I’m busy,” or “I don’t want my business out there.” And then I wonder, How am I going to get my first guest?

Sometimes, it gets so overwhelming that I cry. Not because I don’t love what I do, but because I care so much about it.

And then, somehow, God shows up.

Through people who share contacts, guests who link me to other guests, people I have worked with, and even strangers who reach out on LinkedIn to say, “I’ve seen what you’re doing. Do you think this person would make a good guest?”

And just like that, doors open.

This week, we are bringing you our 11th guest of season 4. Ten guests have already shared their stories, and I still marvel at how it all comes together when I remember how worried I was at the beginning.

People may see the finished product, but they may never know the tears, the unanswered calls, or the moments I wondered how it would all work out.

But I know. And I have seen God come through too many times to believe I am ever truly alone in this journey.

Sometimes, the miracle is that you had nothing figured out, and God still made it happen.❤️

Finally, finally! After what feels like forever, we’re bringing you this conversation🤗

This Saturday on The Career Trail, I have the privilege of hosting Ghanaian-American actress, Aba Arthur, popularly known for her role in Marvel’s Black Panther.

From how she found her way into Hollywood to the realities of navigating the industry as a Black woman, Aba opens up about her experiences, including racism and discrimination she encountered after moving to the United States.

It was a conversation about the journey, the challenges, and what it really takes to make it in Hollywood.

Catch us tomorrow at 4:00 PM on Joy Learning TV and 6:30 PM on Joy News.

You don’t want to miss this! ❤️

Everybody clear road! 🚗💨 It’s time to give credit where credit is due because ‘My 30th Wedding’ had me hooked!

First off, no cap, the entire cast completely nailed it!

BUT can we please talk about @bryanboomba ?👏 Absolute TOP-TIER gentleman. The way he respected Bimbo’s decision? Man was an absolute green flag, and he played that role to perfection. Maturity at its peak!!!!

Also, I was so glad that this time around, the other man (Osaze) was not portrayed as a villain like in most movies. It shows that the other guy isn’t always bad!

Now as for Lola… look, if @_timini hadn’t fired her, honestly even ME, I would vex! 😤

This movie is a 10/10. It was worth my time, worth my data, and DEFINITELY worth losing sleep over. I caught it when it was around 140k views, and seeing it cross over 11 MILLION now just proves I wasn’t tripping.

If you haven’t watched it yet, what are you actually doing? Go stream it now, you’re missing out! 🍿✨

Full casts review on my YouTube channel @teaandtrailers though.

Kudos to @bimboademoye once again, all the casts and everyone who made this film possible 👏🙌

But hats off to my favorite OSAZE! 📌

It’s time for we Ghanaians to drop our review of Frederick Leonard’s movie, Price of Love. 🇬🇭🎬

First of all, Frederick Leonard is who he thinks he is. Over the past year, I honestly haven’t watched a bad movie from him. The storyline itself wasn’t anything extraordinary, but it was the execution, the direction and the way the tension was built that really stood out. It tells you whoever directed this knew exactly what they were doing.

And he nailed it with the casting too! One thing I’ve noticed about his movies is that he seems to know how to bring out sides of actors we don’t usually see. And no one is a minor character, everyone is involved!

Take @officialmichaeldappa , for instance. We know him as the lover boy, the guy who is always doing love, love, love in movies. So when I saw where this story was going, I honestly thought, “Nah, he won’t be able to pull off this emotional role.” But he proved me wrong. He showed that he can do much more than the romantic roles we usually see him in.

@ekamaetiminyang , I’ve already seen her emotional side, especially in Capital Bond so I wasn’t surprised, I knew she would nail the role. But for Michael, I doubted. And that is where I think Frederick Leonard deserves credit. He knows how to select actors and put them in roles that allow us to see their range.

Now, Miles? This guy got on my last nerve! At some point, I genuinely wanted to enter my screen and hit him. When he went to Etim’s door, I was thinking, “Please, just come out and pour water on this man’s face!” Because what kind of audacity is that?

But credit where it’s due, he played the villain so well that I genuinely hated him. @ichie_fuego 😂

And Prisma James? It’s not by force! If someone doesn’t want you, they don’t want you. You can’t turn lust into love by force.

Then there was the landlord… chale! 😂

And the last twist! Chaiiii

Herrr just go and watch this movie, come back here and thank me🤗🥂

Kudos to @freddieleonard @miriamogb for the beautiful script and the entire team👏

I am already on standby for the next Frederick Leonard TV’s production!
