Rio_Exhibit02: Faces of the Art Festival.
Though the sky was filled with looming gray overcast clouds, extravagant colors were filling the streets of the little city of Williamsburg on October 3-4 of 2026.

Rich blues, deep reds, shimmering teals, a whole myriad of color shone their hues out into the streets of N boundary and Duke of Gloucester street for the annual @occasionforthearts festival at @williamsburgdowntown . The sounds of a thousand feet strolling along the more than 400 tents patterned the air, as the event goers passed by wide eyed, taking in all that was in store.

From warped glass, to formed clay, paint, inks and paper mache, colorful dynamic artworks were carefully placed on walls, shelves, tables and even hanging from the white rails of the large tents, calling out to the guests to take a deeper look.

The only thing to rival the vibrance of the art show were the passionate and beautiful faces of the artists who made them. Filled with smiles and a healthy pride, they spoke with love and ferver for the medium of their skill, telling the stories around each piece, and the vehement labor that was done for it.

This exhibition is a small snippet dedicated to those amazing artists and the joy that they bring.

Happening every October the Occasion of the Arts is a place where artists from across williamsburg, Hampton roads and more can come together to celebrate the wonder of art, side by side. If that’s something you’d love to see, well maybe we’ll see you there next year!

Congrats to Mr.Rector for his new position at Loper financial. Wishing blessing on him and the team, and praying that new opportunities arise for them.

I love shooting events, a little bit of hunting and, even some fishing. Catching those perfect moments is always a rush and I look forward to it. I’m always pleased to hear that a company enjoys my work, lets me know all the practice, effort and running around made results.

Wanted to shout out Daniel the manager and the team at @centerstreetva for their hosting and hospitality, friendly wonderful people, and the food was perfect. I’ll be swinging by there more often.

Working with continous light through a projection lens posed to be quite a new challenge. Every inch of movement is like a mile, the light had me testing my patience. Also remember to have your model close her eyes before you take the picture to avoid temporary blindness😆 taken in Williamsburg, Virginia by @rio.foto
