this past sunday i got baptized!!! 🙌

two years ago i encountered Jesus Christ. i was addicted to vices and depressed, looking for hope and change. in the past two years, i have witnessed Jesus be my Living Hope time and time again- and He continues to change me from the inside out! there aren’t words for my gratitude.

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

“Sweet friendships refresh the soul and awaken our hearts with joy, for good friends are like the anointing oil that yields the fragrant incense of God’s presence.”
- Proverbs 27:9 ♥️

He continues to work, i’ll continue to worship!!! there is nothing sweeter and nothing more miraculously Good than friendships formed by the hand of Jesus Christ. so so grateful for my community in @pc3omaha and my roommates prior and present, He done Good.

JESUS FORETELLS DESTRUCTION OF THE TEMPLE - MARK 13:1-2

Jesus wastes No Time in reminding us of what Truly Matters. He’s quick to point to eternity and let us reflect in the present.

God has made us to outlast the Earth, God has made us to have relationship with Him. Only the second is a choice, a choice God grants and does not demand, that we may recognize the exchange He completed and receive the deep love He offers.

Truly, truly, our forever is God’s grave concern! by @riobischof

THE RICH MAN - Mark 10:17-28

Seeking deeper into the Word and “why’s” of what Jesus/God instructs of us uncovers much deeper, much more personal truths of His character and our part to play in our relationship with Him.

Holding another idol in place of Him results in our inability to receive His love and grace, it’s us worshipping a false hope. Jesus IS the ONLY living and everlasting hope.

Truly, truly, it cannot be both! by @riobischof
