Really excited to see this work come together at the new @cedarparkscheels with @hoka

Had a great opportunity to shoot a short film for the grand opening with the Scheel’s team & the @purpledragon_atx squad

The film was about getting those hot Texas summer miles in with the crew & of course, a dip in the Springs

Big shoutout to the production crew

Thank you to my PD team & @cedarparkscheels for the on-screen talent 🎥 crushed it!

Throw in a couple of bloopers because a BPN gel almost took out @wojd_23

Also @tayaherrera22 was having fun with the action camera!

It’s cool to see the PD team on display!

The Summer of Speed has begun 🏎️🏁!!! Quite a humid day, but that’s expected for June in the 512.

Also had some birthday cake at the on the track to celebrate both @mina_glenesk & @david_kohnert

The @heatcheckmile year 2 was a banger!

Cool crisp conditions made for blazing fast time this morning 🏁

@shanrock_runs defended her title with a new course record of 4:34 🔥

@keeganleecalmes closed hard in the final quarter to take the win in a new CR of 4:11

Both of them were our @meanwhilebeer Fastest Road Milers in Austin 😤

Tons of PRs all morning & huge crowd support as well!

Thank you to our volunteers & sponsors for helping us put on a great event!

A little bit about Heatcheck last year - I was given the opportunity to host an official running event with @drivewayseries

I was definitely excited about the idea, but just a little nervous about agreeing to cover the cost without any signups or sponsorship. I went for it anyways & hoped for the best 🤞🏽

I was happy to see the community support and the energy on race day! It made the event a success & something I’m happy to be a part of for year ✌🏽

This year, we are putting together some great prizes & vendor support - including free @swiftwicksocks for the first 75 signups, @meanwhilebeer at the event, shoes from @asics, & some cool stuff in the works!

Let’s keep rolling to May 2nd! & if you want to be involved - shoot me a DM!

For the third year in a row, @purpledragon_atx hosted their mile time trial before the @austinmarathon

This was an actual mile too, there's a separate start line at our track

This was our first AM edition, but we had a great turnout with both runners & support (shoutout media team). The squad was cooking!

Our top times were @jaredgilley with a 4:11 & @elizabeth_stockman with a 4:46

We had a first time sub-5 as well for @timcavell

Overall, a spicy way to kick off marathon weekend

Next year, under the lights at Austin High!? 👀
