When Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss for LSU, I immediately set LSU’s season expectation to CFP semifinal or bust because that’s what he was leaving. About halfway through, it looks like Lane’s first year in Baton Rouge is gonna be a bust! Can’t say I’m shocked though 🤷🏿‍♂️ by @rip_jep

🚨 NOTHING IN CFB MATTERS ANYMORE EXCEPT THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF!! 🚨 No consequences in big matchups, just so we can have more stakes for bubble teams. But also, if your matchup isn’t big enough, don’t celebrate. If you do, you’ll get clowned like PJ Fleck did after winning The Jug. College football was more fun before the playoff became the only thing that mattered. by @rip_jep

No one was talking much about the Crimson Tide this offseason, not after the lopsided loss in the CFP quarters. But Alabama is now 5-0 with an offense that should scare the rest of the country. @rip_jep and @nicole_auerbach discuss the Tide, now rolling: by @rip_jep

Nick Saban said the markets for coaches and college football players are “totally different.” He talked about the value that *coaches* create for their universities, but he’s missing a couple of key points. @rip_jep and @nicole_auerbach respond to those arguing it’s OK to cap athlete pay but not coach pay.
