I just saw this video and my heart broke for this Mama. This is just absolutely unacceptable and people need to realize that you never know someone elses struggles.

Has anyone ever had an issue where they can't get out of their own way? I have no motivation to do anything at all. I know what needs to be done but I can't seem to make myself get up and do it.

I am getting no joy or accomplished feeling after I do something and it's making it hard to keep going. All my normal coping skills aren't working and I am starting to think that *maybe* this is some type of new flavored depression I am dealing with.

Anyone have any advice to help me out while I wait for my appointments next week? I don't want my hiyse to go to hell in a hand basket just because my brain is eating itself. by @ripperroo0786

No one talks enough about the grief of growing up in a huge, close family and then becoming an adult and realizing those gatherings have quietly disappeared.

So many of us grew up surrounded by packed houses, too much food, loud laughter, cousins running everywhere, and the comfort of knowing we would all be together again soon. We thought we would grow up, keep those traditions alive, raise our own kids side by side, and watch them make the same memories we were lucky enough to have.

But life happens. People move. Families grow apart. The person who held everyone together is gone. And somehow, without anyone meaning for it to, the big gatherings become memories instead of traditions.

There is a special kind of heartbreak in missing people who are still here. Missing your aunts, uncles, cousins, and all the little ones you wish you knew better. Missing the chance for your children to grow up surrounded by the same kind of family love you did.

For everyone who grew up with a “family is everything” kind of childhood, only to find it feels almost nonexistent in adulthood: you are not alone in missing it.
