Celebrating Sagar Chhabra of Rippotai Architecture, winner of GROHE Bath & Design Awards 2025, Delhi-based architect Sagar Chhabra, swears by GROHE fittings in his spaces. His latest bath design embodies a philosophy where creativity is rooted in stillness. Conceived as a pause in the everyday, the bath unfolds as a tactile retreat with soft terrazzo, muted textures, and fluted glass coming together to filter light gently.

A translucent partition connects the bath to the walk-in wardrobe on one side and the bedroom on the other. The wardrobe-as-buffer convention, the washroom flows directly into the bedroom, creating a seamless rhythm between spaces. In keeping with this year’s The Invisibles theme, the design does not demand attention but instead transforms routine into retreat, where softness, stillness, and lightness take form. Subtle sophistication comes alive in details like the darker stone bench beside the shower.

On 19th September 2025, Rippotai proudly received its first design award at the 4th edition of the @grohein & @archdigestindia Bath Design Awards — a truly special moment for us.

This recognition reflects our commitment to purposeful, detailed, and innovative design. I extend my heartfelt thanks to GG.

For now, the C1 Residence holds a different kind of everyday life the sound of work, dust on the floor, and details slowly finding their place.

One project. 6 different false ceiling designs.

A ceiling isn’t just a surface above it can completely change how a space feels through its proportion, depth, lighting and architectural detailing.
For this project, each ceiling was designed differently to respond to the room while maintaining one consistent design language throughout the home.

Because good architecture is often found in the details you don’t notice immediately.

An extension to an existing home, designed for a new chapter.

Created for a young couple about to begin their life together, the floor is planned as a home of its own generous where it needs to be, private where it matters. Open living spaces lead into quieter, more personal zones, tied together through warm wood, soft neutrals and a restrained material palette.

Rooted in the family home, yet shaped around a life that is just beginning.

Taking the project one level above, the first floor shifts from the activity of the ground floor into a more focused workspace.

The layout brings together the MD cabin, accounts, insurance, inventory, waiting lounge and workspaces, connected through open gangways and overlooking the levels below. Exposed brick, black steel, textured glass, warm timber and container-inspired volumes continue the project’s raw industrial language throughout.

A floor designed not as an isolated office level, but as an extension of the architecture below connected visually, materially and functionally.

AUTOLUXE STUDIO, Ranchi

A car detailing studio born from a long-held plan between two friends to build something of their own.

The layout became the starting point organising the movement of cars and people through washing, detailing, finishing and delivery, while keeping the whole experience efficient, clean and visually connected.

Dark ribbed metal on the outside. Open glass on the inside. Work you can see from the lounge, and from the road.

A space shaped as much by its workflow as by its architecture.

The final chapter of Moksh Dham began with a difficult thought of how should architecture hold someone who has just lost a loved one?

The planning follows that emotional journey: from arrival and waiting to prayer, the final rites, purification and departure. At its centre, the sunken Shivji court and stepped mound offer space to gather, pause and slowly come to terms with loss.

These renders reveal a place shaped not only for ritual, but for dignity, remembrance and acceptance.

The second chapter of Moksh Dham explores how spaces for grief, ritual and remembrance come together through a carefully planned spatial journey.

Tmokshdham moves gradually between open, semi-open and enclosed spaces—guiding families from arrival and waiting, towards prayer, final rites, purification and departure. At the heart of the layout, the central mound and Shivji court create a place for gathering, reflection and acceptance.

Experiencing a profound loss within our own family brought us even closer to its purpose. It made us see architecture not only as a setting for life, but also as a source of comfort during its most difficult moments.
