12 years ago I nervously opened Rip Tide with nothing more than a dream.. I should have done something offical to celebrate today, as it will be our last year in a physical shop location, but there's a lingering sadness I didn't want to acknowledge. I started this journey alone, and I'll end it alone, but I accomplished more than I EVER dreamed of, and I need to be proud of that. I couldn't have done it without the support of some very special people. I want to thank you all for believing in Rip Tide and in myself. The people I have met in this time is mind-blowing. The people who have become friends from our events, that's something that lasts longer than my business will, and that's beautiful. We've gone to Vegas, Atlantic City, we've met celebrities & artists who felt famous in their own right. Rip Tide won Business of the Year multiple times, I met Brit, it brought me all of my animals.. Memories I'll cherish forever, and I'll never take for granted. I'm so proud of what we accomplished. Thank you to anyone who's been a part of Rip Tides story. If you aren't up to much today, swing by and come visit the dogs and I. We will be in shop until 4pm. D taken in Rip Tide Smoke Shop by @riptidemaine2

Lets try to do this without rambling.. I'm honored, I am thankful and I am so appreciative of every person who came to the 2026 Heat Wave. Words cannot describe the feelings I felt this weekend, and I hope every one of you who came out truly enjoyed yourself. Months of planning goes into a quick 48 hours that always leaves me speechless. The artists; thank you for breaking down your equipment & for everyone doing their part to make this all possible. This is all in celebration of YOUR work and how it brings a whole community together. The sponsors, the attendees, the vendors & @thecuratorco.me - we hope this was all worth your time and hard earned money. This wouldn't be possible without you and your efforts were felt by everyone Finally, my family & my volunteer staff - I cannot say thank you enough. THEY DID THIS ALL FOR FREE. they busted their ass for multiple days in a row, set up, broke down all camping & demo tents. They helped run caution tape, helped me pack VIP bags.. they worked SO hard for this to all flow smoothly. Brandi, Justin, Libbi, Jacob, Missy, Nick, Ben, Kate, Sean, Bridge, Elijah, Sarah, Ryan, my family, my WIFE.. these people did so much more than I did all weekend long. I'm eternally grateful for you I love you all. I cannot, can NOT say enough how much you filled my heart this weekend; I hope you all made memories & made new friends πŸ’™ taken in Rip Tide Smoke Shop by @riptidemaine2
