as some of you may know, i’ve been working on a gospel record for the past couple of years.

to be clear: it is not a worship album. i’d call it more of a commentary on the role of spirituality and religion throughout my life.

as artists, we tend to do this thing where we start projects, fall out of love with them, and either abandon them or deem them “unworthy” of putting in the time and upholding the financial commitment required to see them through.

turning 30 was my wake up call that enough was enough. i can’t set an example for the people i work with and mentor every day if i’m unable to do the things i work tirelessly motivating them to do.

so here it is: my first solo project in about six years.

special 🖤 to my creative team @gravexdigger and @permanentblo0m for always coming through and to @ward14consignmentbar for putting together this sick ironic church set.

IF ONLY GOD COULD HEAR ME.

Thank you endlessly, Guangzhou 🫶🏻

And just like that, our China shows on this Asia tour have come to an end. We’re incredibly sad to leave, but we’ve had such a wonderful time here and are leaving with so many beautiful memories.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made these shows so special. We’re already looking forward to the day we can return. Until next time. 🖤

It’s been a long journey to get to this point. To anyone who gives this a listen, supports me, or has ever held it down for me thank you, truly. I’ve been meaning to drop this for a long time, but life has a way of getting in the way and stalling plans. I’m restarting this music journey with this as my opener. At the end of the day, it’s all about how you bounce back , right ? by @ripvctr
