I JUST WANT TO MAKE JESUS PROUD!!
Will God publicly declare to the world 🌎 that we are his children in whom He’s well pleased?
From the Life of Jesus we see that it takes great humility and completely yielding to God’s will to make that happen.
..
Imagine Jesus, God himself letting a ‘mere’ man who he created to baptize him kaiii 🔥
Humility at its Peak.
Humility that looks like foolishness.
Will you set aside your ‘juicy’ life plans to yield to God’s will?
Will you be ‘foolish’ today to be recognized by God tomorrow?
Will you ignore the evil and distracting comments and focus on what God has planned for you?
Will you be falsely accused and still be consistent in your service and devotion to God?
Will you face all the trials and temptations yet your heart remains right towards God and His will?
..
REFLECT TODAY
REFLECT RIGHT now as you read this.
I want to make Jesus Proud.
Besides it being a Profession of faith, our actions must reflect our total reliance on God’s will and Purpose for our lives.
Let’s make Abba Proud ❤️
…..
Philippians 2:7-8
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Jesus must be Preached 🔥.
All it takes is your Obedience.
I have NEVER felt this fulfilled.
Everything is slowly starting to make sense.
There are men who are hungry for the Word 🔥
There are men whose exposure to salvation is tied to your obedience to God’s call.
It definitely won’t be convenient. God asked Abraham in Genesis 12:1
Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
Where is the convenience here? God asked him to leave all and obey.
What if all the great men of God who have blessed us today never responded to the call?
Kaiiiiii 🔥 🔥
You are Revival!!
You are the Bible they Read!!
It’s time to let go of All and say Yes!!
The man who preached the sermon you consistently listen to had to say Yes to God!!
The woman whose songs blesses you so much had to say Yes to God.

Saying Yes doesn’t mean it’ll be Rosy. In fact expect persecutions and troubles. Saying Yes triggers the devil and his allies. Jesus didn’t hide the truth from us. He told us that we’d receive a hundredfold Blessings and at the same time a hundred fold persecutions.

Mark 10:29-30
And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

Brace yourself because saying Yes means you’ve signed up for War. The only good thing is that you signed up for War from a place of Victory.
Have you said Yes or are you still waiting for a Perfect time?
The Time is NOW!!!!

I was reading Scripture recently and this verse really made me pause:

“And Satan entered into Judas…” Luke 22:3

And I was like… wait. 😭

Because we talk so much about what Judas did, but this made me think about something else. Sometimes something happens in our lives and in that moment, there is an opportunity for the enemy to use that situation, but there is also an opportunity for God to use it. And honestly, the choice is ours.

Think about how we feel when things happen. Sometimes we’re angry, hurt, disappointed, excited, afraid, frustrated or just overwhelmed. And because the emotion feels so real, we can easily let it take over and determine how we respond.

But what if we started pausing and asking, “God, how do You want to use me in this?” 🥹

Because I can be hurt, disappointed, afraid or frustrated and still choose to respond with love, faith, wisdom, patience and trust in God. ❤️

Our emotions are real, but they don’t have to lead us.

And honestly, this is something I’ve been trying to practise more. When something happens and I feel myself reacting, I want to pause and ask, “What am I allowing this moment to produce in me?”

Because the same situation that could make me bitter could also make me more forgiving. The same disappointment could either pull me away from God or push me closer to Him.

So I want to dare myself, and dare you too, to let God use you. 🙏🏽

Not just when things are easy, but in those moments when your emotions are all over the place and you don’t even know what to do.

The situation may not always be in our control, and we may not choose the emotions that come, but we can choose who we allow to lead us and what we allow that moment to produce in us.

So next time something happens, before you react, just pause and ask:

“God, how do You want to use me here?” 🥹❤️

Because personally, I’d rather let God use me than let my emotions use me.

God, use me. Even here. 🙏🏽❤️

Monday already? 😩😂

Honestly, today I’m just grateful.

Grateful for the job I once prayed for. Grateful that even though I’m tired, I still have somewhere to be this morning. Because let’s be honest, there was a time I was praying and asking God for exactly this.

I think sometimes when life gets hard, we forget that we’re actually living in some of the things we once prayed for.

I had such an eventful weekend, and by Sunday night I was DONE. 😂 I was tired, overwhelmed and honestly, with my mouth, I almost said something I didn’t even mean. And I just thought… wow. Look at how quickly we can become frustrated with something that was once an answered prayer.

So today, I’m choosing to pause and say, God, thank You. 🤍

Thank You for the job.
Thank You for the opportunity.
Thank You for the things I now see as normal that I once prayed so hard for.

Because sometimes the thing you’re complaining about is actually the thing you once cried to God about.

So if you’re tired today, I hope you remember that too. ❤️

And if you’re currently trusting God for a job, or you’ve been praying for that dream job, I pray that God opens the right door for you. May He give you favour, order your steps and connect you with the right people.

And when it happens, I hope you remember this season and say, “God, I really prayed for this.” 🥹🤍

Happy Monday, my loves. We have plenty to be grateful for. 🫶🏽

Happy birthday, Risa! 🥹❤️

Gosh, I’m emotional just thinking about this past year.

God took me through paths I never thought I needed to take the year before. I had questions and burdens. I also had requests that felt like won’t be answered.

Then came this year… and suddenly, one by one, everything started being answered by God. 😭

Back to back.
Creative miracles left and right.
Prayers I had almost forgotten I prayed.
Things I had waited so long for suddenly becoming reality.

So many moments made me sit back and think, “Lord… am I really Your favorite?” 😂🥹❤️

It has been a year of seeing God in ways I cannot explain, and I’m deeply grateful.

Lord, I’m ready for this new year.
Do it again. And even more.
More of You. More miracles. More purpose. More answered prayers. More of everything You have ordained for me.

If this past year taught me anything, it is that God is faithful, even when the answer takes longer than expected.

Here’s to another year of walking with You, trusting You, and watching You do what only You can do. 🥂❤️

Happy birthday to me. 🎂✨ taken in United Kingdom by @risamak

Parents, sometimes LOVE has to step back. ❤️

As parents, our instinct is often to step in. To make things easier. To solve the problem. To protect them from every disappointment, mistake, discomfort and consequence.

But sometimes… we have to let them try. 🥹

The Bible says:

“For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth…” — Hebrews 12:6 (KJV)

Love is not always sweet and mushy. 🫶🏽
Sometimes love corrects.
Sometimes love says NO.
Sometimes love allows a child to experience the consequence of their choices.
Sometimes love says, “You can do this yourself.”

And no, allowing your child to struggle a little does not mean you don’t love them. They won’t die. 😂❤️

Give your children age-appropriate responsibilities. Let them make age-appropriate decisions. Let them learn how to solve small problems while you’re still there to guide them.

Because if we constantly do everything for them, how will they learn to do it when we’re no longer there?

Our job isn’t to make our children’s lives completely free from difficulty. Our job is to prepare them for life. ❤️

Sometimes, the most loving thing you can do is take one step back and let them take one step forward. 👣

And remember: correction is not rejection. Discipline is not hatred. Boundaries are not a lack of love.

Healthy love prepares a child for the world, not just for the comfort of childhood. 💕👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

As promised in the video:
₦19,800 ≈ £10 💷 (exchange rates fluctuate)

So… parents, breathe. 😅
You don’t have to rescue them from everything.

Let them try. Let them learn. Let them grow. ❤️
And this Definitely applies to any parent Christian or not.

I was looking back at these #clips and I started thinking about how much the view changes during a journey. One minute you’re looking at something beautiful, the next you’re passing through somewhere completely different.

It reminded me of how life can be. We go through different seasons, and sometimes we find ourselves in places we didn’t expect to be. Some seasons are exciting and full of joy, while others come with uncertainty, waiting, and questions about what God is doing.

I know I’ve had moments where I’ve wondered, “Lord, what is happening?” But I’m learning that even when I don’t understand the season I’m in, I can trust the God who is leading me through it.

The view may change, the circumstances may change, and our plans may change, but God’s faithfulness doesn’t.

So if you’re in a season right now that feels unfamiliar, I hope you remember that God hasn’t lost sight of you. You may not see the whole journey yet, but He does.

Keep trusting Him. One step at a time. 🤍

Pentecost Sunday is something I’ve always thought about so deeply because in my head I can picture it so clearly 🕊️🔥 I always imagine what it must have felt like being in that room… waiting, praying, not fully knowing what was about to happen and then suddenly the sound of a rushing wind, the fire, the overwhelming presence of God filling the place and filling people. I genuinely think about it a lot because sometimes we read it so quickly and forget these were real people having a real encounter with God.

And honestly, one thing that comforts me is knowing that God still moves like that today 🤍 Maybe not always in the exact same outward way, but His Spirit is still meeting people every single day. Sometimes it’s in worship when you suddenly feel overwhelmed and start crying for no reason you can explain 🥹 Sometimes it’s in the middle of prayer when you feel this unexplainable peace. Sometimes it’s through conviction, through dreams, through a random sermon that feels like God is speaking directly to you, through healing, through strength when you’ve been weak for so long, or even through moments where your hunger for Him becomes stronger than your desire for anything else ✨

I think a lot of people desire an encounter with God but feel like they don’t know how to experience Him for themselves. But the truth is, God is not hiding from people who genuinely want Him 🤍 Encounters don’t always begin with something dramatic. Sometimes they begin with simple hunger. With honesty. With sitting in your room and saying “God, if You’re real, I want to know You for myself.” 🙏🏽 Sometimes it starts with worship, with prayer, with reading Scripture consistently even when you don’t feel anything yet.

I really believe God still reveals Himself to people who seek Him sincerely 🕯️ Pentecost reminds me that God didn’t just pour out His Spirit for one moment in history and stop there. He’s still drawing people, still filling people, still changing people and still making Himself known today 🔥❤️
