Dialling in the sub and percussion on this vibey one

Fine-tuning the low-end weight and getting the transients to punch cleanly. Definitely a track for the headphones or proper subs.

Crate digging at the weekend turned into this ☕

Found an old 1950s guitar record and had to chop the chords up. Pure soulful liquid vibes.

Building the mid drop liquid switch-up stem-by-stem 🎛️

1. Atmospheric pad running a sweeping low-pass filter to keep dynamic movement across the loop.

2. Mono sub with pitch glides locked into the groove.

3. Rolling layered break to top it all off.

Save this for your next liquid session 📌

Heavy track next, or move onto the moody roller? 👇

The Atmospheric Liquid takes it by one vote.

Watch the low-pass cutoff automation on the main pad sweep open and close into the 1:26 switch-up to keep the texture moving without stealing focus from the groove.

Stem breakdown dropping Thursday.

The anatomy of this gritty minimal roller.

Layering is everything - getting the punchy drum transients, wide atmospheric textures, and distorted bass drive to sit cleanly together in the mix.

Save this for your next production session 💾

Dialing in the mid-bass grit and harmonic drive on this roller. Been quietly in the lab refining my sound design over the break. How is the texture sounding on your speakers? Drop your thoughts below 👇 #drumandbass #dnbproducer #dnbroller #sounddesign #minimaldnb by @risemusicuk
