Thank you to the team at Rosewall Community Centre for providing such a welcoming space to facilitate a 1:1 breathwork and yoga session with one of our clients.

In collaboration with recommendations from physiotherapy and occupational therapy, a safe and sensory-conscious environment was created to support physical and sensory needs throughout the session.

This weekly support has become an important part of the ongoing care team and has helped build emotional regulation skills that carry into everyday life. taken in Rosewall Community Centre by @risingtide_movement

A 4-in, 8-out breath helps shift the body toward a calmer state by slowing the heart-rate, reducing tension, and supporting the parasympathetic nervous system.

We teach this to our freedive students for their breath-up, and it’s also a simple tool they can use in daily life to reset stress, improve focus, and bring more calm into the body and mind.

Next time you’re heading into a stressful situation, try this breathing for 60 seconds and notice the difference. Breathing through your nose can make it even more beneficial. by @risingtide_movement

Practical Breathwork for Real Life

This is simple, no-nonsense training for real life. Inspired by freediving and backed by science, these breathwork skills are designed to help you stay calm under pressure, manage stress more effectively, and build resilience in everyday situations.

You’ll learn practical tools you can use anywhere — at work, at home, or in moments that feel overwhelming. No experience needed. Just a willingness to show up and breathe.

Weekly 60 minute sessions coming soon — keep an eye on our socials, and reach out if this sounds like something you’re interested in.

If you can breathe, you can use this. taken in Bellarine Peninsula by @risingtide_movement

Introducing Rising Tide Movement

A place created with heart, for growth, connection, and support.

Rising Tide Movement is about walking alongside people as they build confidence, strengthen resilience, and find a greater sense of wellbeing.

Through 1-to-1 mentoring, youth programs, men’s groups, and breathwork classes, we aim to create spaces that feel safe, welcoming, and grounded in real connection.

We’re especially proud to offer inclusive and sensory-friendly breathwork classes, including a gentler approach for those who benefit from extra support.

Whether you’re looking for personal growth, a place to belong, or a way to feel more settled and connected, Rising Tide Movement is here to meet people where they’re at.

We work with both NDIS and private clients, and we’re currently taking referrals. We’ll officially begin services in June. To learn more or make a referral, contact jake@risingtidemovement.com.au
