Year after year, the tests all read negative. It got to the point where seeing a pregnancy test would cause for my stomach to drop. Any woman who’s dealt with infertility knows the void those tests leave. I really wanted to have the experience of surprising my husband with a positive test and at one point really thought that would never happen. But God did one better…

My best friend and I are officially married 8 years today. 😍🌻

I couldn’t watch this video too many times without crying, because I have no idea who I would be without you. These past 12 years with you, have been rewarding, scary, and we’ve grown up together. I still remember the 18 year old you, still full of confidence and compassion. Watching you evolve has been one of my favorite parts of life. I’m so grateful I made the scary leap to propose to you when I did despite so many people telling me to rethink it. 12 years later, I’m more in love with you than ever. Our Christmas Baby Shower 🎄🎊🎉

We celebrated our little miracle almost being here and it was so special. And we did it of course the only way two married creatives knew how, BIG.

Shoutout to our village for holding us down even through a time of so much chaos for us. Although,
I’m missing so many people in pictures we’re so grateful for every person who came out to celebrate with us! The Smiths love each and every one of you deeply.
